I would give this club 0 starts if I could. I am very upset about my experience in subway cowgate. The man on clock room, Jamie, was extremely unnecessarily rude to me and my friends. I had a tote bag which had loads of room in it for my friends jacket and on the clock room wall was a poster which said 1 item £1 two items £2 so I asked can I put my friends jacket in my bag and pay for two items and he said no which was fine and we paid separately. When he went to hang our jackets up I said to my friend that it seemed silly that we couldn't put his jacket in my bag and Jamie came back to us saying "I heard what you said about me I'll get you kicked out" to which I replied "I didn't say anything about you at all, please tell me what I said that upset you" and he walked away without replying because obviously he couldn't tell me anything I said as I had not said anything about him. Me and my friends then went to the bathroom strait after and as soon as we came out my friend was grabbed by bouncers and taken out of the club to stand in the rain without her jacket. I went back to clock room to collect mine and her belongings. I handed both tickets to Jamie who then out of nowhere called me a c word and told me I should have been kicked out. He then only gave me one ticket item and the bouncer had to go back in for my friends ticketed belongings. I feel that under no circumstances should any customer be called a cunt, especially as I feel like I was polite and did nothing wrong. If subway read this please check the security cameras and you will see that I was not aggressive or rude in anyway. One of the bouncers apologied and told us that Jamie was on the spectrum which I think shows the bouncer also agreed that we did nothing wrong. I can understand that perhaps being on the spectrum makes customer service roles hard for Jamie but he cannot be allowed to treat customers this way, particularly calling them a c word is unacceptable, autism or not. read more
