I showed up after regular…read morelunch hours, the drive thru line was almost to the road, and the cashier was one single touchscreen and no human manning it or any of the other registers. It took most customers about five minutes to figure out how the touchscreen worked, so the indoor line was basically at a standstill as well. Clearly a company that does not care about anything about humanity other than what's in their wallets.

I said no…read moresweat, I have the computer receipt with all the info you need, order #, items, payment, etc. Now get this - I'm told they can't give me my paid for order because I might have just made up the receipt! I'm a senior retired professional, nice car with a dog in the back. Just the type to forge a $7 receipt. A shouting match ensued (mostly my shouting in disbelief) with the person impersonating the Manager. He says I need to show him my bank statement. I guess I yelled loud enough because I eventually got my order (without the dipping sauces). Someone should train the employees on how to handle a screw up. A simple, "I'm sorry we messed up. Here's your order. Have good day!" would have changed this review from a one star to a 5.

Came in for a quick bite while on the road. I have celiac disease (gluten free) so I opted for a…read moresalad. I've had JM before and have been safe. Unfortunately this was not safe for me. I was greeted by a young man and he had no idea how to prepare the area for a GF salad. I gave tips (change gloves, plastic paper and so on forth). Unlike other Jersey Mike workers, I don't think he was trained. Unfortunately he did not clean the table and he placed my meat 1/2 on the clean paper and 1/2 off. The thing that I found odd was when they freshly cut meats, they use sandwich hands with crumbs on them. I was desperate and hoped for the best but was glutened and go really sick. There was a lady working (Ashley maybe???) who had a child with allergies and she took over and was helpful. I was super apologetic at this time. She did everything she could to make the toppings and chopping portion safe. I wish I started with her! All in all, my allergies aren't against them but the food was delicious. The salad was fabulous! Fresh ingredients and great portion. I'm not sure if I'd come to this location again but if you don't have allergies, this is a great pit stop!

However, right at the end, my husband found a piece of paper in his mouth. When we spoke to the manager, they did waive the charge for the pretzel, but mentioned that they don't make the pretzels in-house. Honestly, my main concern isn't about the money or a refund; given my health sensitivities, I am really quite upset about the thought of microplastics and chemicals from the paper potentially being absorbed into my body. I hope the management can take food safety and quality control a bit more seriously moving forward.
