The pineapple school is a great daycare and is the best daycare for our kids. I am a Spanish native speaker but my husband is an English speaker. Our kids are learning both languages! The staff is great, they go above and beyond to make our children feel safe and welcomed at school. My 2 year daughter wakes up every morning asking if she can go to class with Ms. Annette. She is currently being potty trained, and I'm amazed as how well she is doing all because of how great her teachers are with her! My 1 year old doesn't talk yet, but he is all smiles when I drop him off with Ms. Priscilla. He is happy to see us when it's time to go, we receives us with a smile from ear to ear - we can tell he's had a great day, and Ms. Aracelis and Ms. Priscilla take the time to tell us about his day and new adventures and skills. I LOVE them all!!!!! I couldn't be happier, I highly recommend this daycare!

Anyways just wanted to point out the gossip culture in this school all employees just acting like high school students. Then when they sent me to camp bullis, they all paraded around the ONLY man in the school. Another little high school party. In the end thank god I didn't get the position I honestly didn't even want it. I'm just annoyed of the time they made me waist and since yelp is open for opinions I decided to leave mine. On top of the SAD hourly pay $13 an hour haha I would never want to be apart of this grown adult high school culture. Good luck to all the parents I will say they do smile at you if your a parent :) AT LEAST and they made me wait almost an hour for the interview

The most exciting part is my son has made amazing progress. He's using words more, he's become comfortable in a classroom situation & participates. His outside speech teacher is amazed by him too. After having a meet and greet, they explained the protocols and met the teachers. What really convinced me to have my child attend Just Kids, was the ability for me to remote in and see my daughter (through Watch Me Grow). We have now been with Just Kids for a month, and it was the best choice we made for child care for our 4-month-old daughter. I LOVE her teachers (Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Mindy). They go out of their way to ensure that our nursing schedule is followed as I asked, and go above and beyond to tend to my daughter. I can leave every day with confidence that they will ensure the best care for her. Also several times, I have driven up to the location, and you can smell how clean it is OUTSIDE! I love walking in and smelling how fresh and clean the center is. They are very good at communication, and handle the babies very well! I am so happy to have found Just Kids and highly recommend them! *Also, they are very quick to listen to concerns (Ms. Christy the director). There has only been one (I requested a new trash can), and she took care of that the same day.

I had the most amazing and joyful experience sending my kids to MKU at the University Heights location. However, when I learned they were closing, I began a frantic search for a new school that offered the same diligent and thoughtful Montessori curriculum my children had been experiencing. I also wanted a program with a rich Spanish language curriculum to support my trilingual children. I'm so thrilled to say that these past two months at MKU Shavano have felt like a self-fulfilling prophecy come true. My children love going to school and come home each day sharing their newfound love for literature and the arts. Their bond with their teachers runs deep - it warms my heart when they talk excitedly about what they learned while we eat dinner together. The front office staff is my daily dose of positivity each morning as I drop them off. Through my journey with MKU over the past year and three months, I can confidently say this place is a home away from home for my kids. If you are looking for an academically rich, safe, and loving environment for your child, look no further. I only wish I had enrolled my son and daughter sooner. I deeply appreciate Ms. Brigitte, Ms. Viví, Ms. Elvira, Ms. Alé, and Mr. Sandoval (the newest teacher there!). Within just one day, my son couldn't stop talking about the fun activities he did in Mr. Sandoval's classroom. Thank you, Ms. Chrissy, for accommodating my children into your school.

Both of my girls have been there for over two years, and not a single day has gone by that I was worried about their safety or general well-being. The staff is extremely attentive, and they know every student by name. Additionally, the Spanish immersion PLUS Montessori is a game changer; learning life skills and another language from such a young age has had a positive impact on their overall growth and development. We moved further away from this school and made the easy decision to keep them there even though the drive is longer. Selecting MKU where our girls have a safe, clean environment to thrive in has been one of the best choices we've made as parents!

Our daughter didn't come here for long and since they're now closed, I'm a little heart broken. The ladies we're all wonderful and clearly cared about the children. Our precious daycare lied about changing our daughter's diaper consistently, the amount of food she was eating, etc. So you can imagine how relieved I was when I was told our daughter wasn't eating as much as I had been told before (but suspected was a lie). Not only that we heard what she was doing during the day and it was clear that she was enjoying herself. I appreciated the stories and seeing how happy she was each day. Sadly, the pandemic has really hit businesses and Little Explorers has to close their door. If they ever open again though, this is a staff I would trust with your little one.
