So after calling numerous businesses, only to hear, "it'll be sometime next week," (one said the end of March!), I finally called RJ Energy. I spoke to John who immediately understood our problem and sent a tech out within 2 hours. Arnold arrived, checked everything and said exactly what we needed. He and John both recommended local electricians for the wiring part. Well, thanks to their help, the very next morning Arnold arrived and installed a new water heater. He was so quick and efficient, about two hours, and all done. John and Arnold were both so very friendly and helpful. Pricing was very reasonable and they did exactly what they said. Sure all the techs were booked, but we could have gotten a call to "let us know" so we could have looked for another guy asap. I don't think they'd want to wait 24 hours to have anyone come to THEIR house. They should do better by their customers and follow through with promises. We're frustrated and disappointed.

First we were told to expect phone calls we never got, then emails that never came. FINALLY we managed to get an appointment to get a firm quote. My husband took the afternoon off from work and.... they didn't show. I called to find out what happened, and was informed they forgot. So the guy heads over, we tell him what we need and he emails us a quote several days later (the other companies we had look at it had quotes to us in 24 hours). Only, there is nothing about removing manganese from the water, which is what we needed. I responded asking about this, and they didn't know the answer. And how will it take to install? About a week, IF they have all the parts in stock. We will be using a more reliable company. Update: emailed CB Haskell two days ago to express our displeasure over the issues around the water system. Explained that we might be considering a new oil company too if this was an example of their customer service. No answer. No call, no email, no nothing.
