Book on their website for a quicker last minute appointment, which is what I ended up doing. I woke up and thought, hey I need a haircut. Everywhere else opens at 9am and it was 7am and I just didn't want to wait 2 hours. Sublime catered to that.
They are like the lighter, brighter, friendlier version of Oscar Oscar, the hairstylists have about 4 or 5 different levels of expertise, all of which you pay for. Yes, this is going to be a pricey little adventure I was very resigned to that. No, I initially didn't plan on spending that much on a haircut. Having said that, I do pay over $100 for a massage or day spa treatment... and getting your hair done properly is like pampering yourself.
I had an Art Director cut my hair (I selected the 'anyone' option online) and it did cost me $115... but it included a deluxe treatment, scalp massage, initial scalp massage and blow dry... which I've got to say, for the service and timing, was very much worth my time.
Will be back again... and my hair smells awesome... and they don't even try and sell you products which is a huge plus. read more
