My mom used to come to Rodrigo, and we were just married and started coming to him and then Maria Antonieta. Long story short my adult children are coming here now. Maria Antonieta has been a godsend she is a sweetheart and an awesome, intelligent professional. She helped us with our daughters business. This is the best CPA firm around, the wait is long, its a very different system but imo its worth it. No glitter and gloss here, just in the staff and the money they save you. I have a love/hate relationship with this place.... For starters, my mom has been doing her taxes here for almost 25 years so I have that as recommendation... The few times I have come here, I do get the best income returns point blank! And the fact that she's been in business this long makes me feel good about it! Maria Antonieta is a lovely lady with a booming business, however, the system they have in place is a bit archaic in my opinion. It sorta like a deli where you have to take a number until called. I don't think she makes appointments. If you get there at 5 am or earlier, there a list you can put your name on and they honor it. Once the office opens they take the list down and start the "deli-style" Number system!!! It's a little crazy you're not familiar with it. My mom actually wrote my name down on the list around 6 in the am and went back home. I got to the office at 10 am and they hadn't even started so....what can I say it's a Hialeah system! Lol, having said all of that though, she is nice, and always gets me the beat returns! Just HATE the long wait!! The ridiculous waiting time gets 1 star, the tax return gets 5, so I averaged it out to 3 stars! read more

I've been coming to do my taxes here for as long as I can remember. Maria is the best at what she does IMO. People come from all over the state to do taxes with her. Consider this a small mom and pop operation. It's her and her nephew thats it. Therefore, you can image this can get pretty crowed. People start making lines to be seen since mid night. Typically during tax season there is a list that typically starts after mid night. Yes people camp out to do there taxes. Like I said it's a small operation and people know she is as good as it gets so there willing to wait and camp out to be the first in line when she opens at 9:00am. The list is good until 9:00am when she opens, once she opens they take the list and start calling names, everyone after who is not on the list takes numbers just like at the deli in the supermarket. Once the names off the list is over she goes by the numbers. Seems confusing and complicated but I can assure you won't regret it. She will legally and correctly get you the maximum refund and guide you in the right direction in all your accounting needs. Trust me if people are willing to wait and willing to camp out to do there taxes. It's for a reason. I leave happy every year. Just brings water and a snack. read more

I have done my taxes here for years because Maria and Alex are great and knowledgeable accountants with extensive experience. However, the system they have in place for attending customers is ridiculous. You take a number when you walk in and wait for your turn. The problem with this system is that they issue a lot more numbers than they can actually attend to in any given day. This works for Publix because they have a fast turn around time. However, this system does not work when you are doing your taxes as the turn around time is slower. Plan to waste your entire day there waiting to be called. You are lucky if you leave before 9pm. I cannot afford to waste a whole day waiting on them to do my taxes because their system is obsolete. I will be doing my taxes somewhere else. read more

Unfortunately I have to press a star so that I may write a review. If it was up to me I would not give them a star. I have been here since 9am and it is already 1:35pm. I'm the 10th person on the waiting list and it seems that I will be waited on by 4pm or 5. It is also ridiculous that I see other individuals being attended after I have gotten here before them. From the looks of it, if this keeps happening it seems that I will be here till 7pm if more people come in. It was stupid of me to grab a number since other people have priorities. This is really ridiculous if I stay for eight hours if they can process my taxes in 15 minutes. That is only an estimate. It could be less! Honestly CPA keep your business as a business! If you want to chat or swap NON Tax story, please do everyone else a favor, keep it to a minimum! This is worst than being picked for jury duty! # A new phase for 2019! read more
