Upgraded bathroom

Styles in Tile came highly recommended, and Jamie and his team did not disappoint. We did two complete bathroom remodels with them, and are having them back soon to do a third. The guys were all friendly, professional, timely, and always left a clean worksite at the end of the day. They were also very respectful of the fact that they were in someone's home everyday. Their attention to detail was top notch too. The grout lines are impeccable and it is clear that every tile was placed with intention to the space it was occupying and the overall look of the bathroom. They were also very communicative when it came to decisions that needed to be made so we could make the most informed decisions. They were also very flexible because we changed our minds a few times as to the scope of the project to greatly expand the tiling work and they went with it without complaint. I walk into a luxury feeling bathroom now and love it. I would recommend Styles in Tile 10 out of 10 times. Before and after pics below!

Jamie the owner was responsive and did not disappoint. Estimated lead time of 4-6 week out when we initially spoke but he was able to pushed my project forward (2 weeks out) due to other client's delayed material. I bought the tiles but the sealer was included in the price. Project was finished in 2 days. The first day I could not be there the whole time when the guys laid out the tiles, so when I checked the work at night I noticed some miss alignment and spacing at a few spots and texted Jamie at 11 P.M. He was super responsive and replied right away to assure me he will communicate with the guys to fix the issue the day after. Just like he promised, I'm glad they fixed it the 2nd day just how I wanted without breaking any tiles. The outcome was beautiful and I'm really happy with it.

This company (and the owner--Jamie O'Linn) is a joke! The guy is THE BIGGEST FLAKE on the planet (see attached images). The guy was supposed to start a job for me and flaked; kept pushing back dates with excuses... Bedrosian Tile was right about this company--they have been hearing more and more stories like this from prospective customers. I thought I'd give him a shot despite what I heard, turns out I was wrong and am now behind the 8-ball. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Jamie and his crew were great. Arrived early every day and finished fast. Jamie is easy to get a hold of for any questions and the rate was fair. You can tell that the crew really took pride in their work because they asked me halfway through if I thought it looked great and they had big smiles on their faces because they knew it did. I would highly recommend Styles in Tile.

Javier was a great installer. Very meticulous and cared about his work.

Jamie and his crew (Javier and Raul) did an excellent job on our master bathroom shower. Javier was very meticulous on his workmanship. The tiles on the wall, the metal border trim, the shampoo niche, and the floor came out great!! They were priced about the same as another contractor, but my wife liked Jamie's personality better. And the other contractor never sent us a written quote in three days like he promised, and he never called back to follow up. On the down side, it did take two weeks to finish. And one worker was a little messy on leaving mortar splashed on our new pavers and bricks in our yard. The same guy also cleaned out his shop vac filter in our new dark rubber mulch area, etc. And one if the plumbers (we had about 5 different guys show up) splashed a lot of mortar mix on the walls and new shower tile when they filled up the hole in the floor when they moved the toilet over an inch or so (not worth the $$$ to do it). Jamie has the workers do 99% of the work. He will install the shower fixtures at the end. Doesn't take credit cards... only checks. And... they start at 7am... most people start at 8am. But, overall, it was a nice job and I would recommend him to my friends.

This well-executed bathroom tile installation provided us with aesthetics, function and durability in equal measure. Beautiful and practical tile work begins with great design. While my wife and I have a knack for imagining what we want, we appreciated the great help that Jamie O'Linn and his team gave us. The tilers took our ideas and helped us refine our many options into a pleasing combination of color and texture. Finding symmetry in the design seemed to come easy to these professionals. The surfaces were carefully prepared, and made smooth and flat. The grid centering was very accurately measured; the tile placement and the straight lines gave perfectly consistent grout lines. There are no loose tiles, popping grout, tile edges sticking up, crooked corners, or bowing surfaces. Attention to detail in the preparation of this project seemed to be of paramount concern to these technicians. The transition edges between wall tile and drywall, and between floor tile and hardwood were all tight, clean, and seamless, allowing for smooth transitions between the adjacent surfaces. Floors in particular take a beating under even moderate traffic; masterful preparation and execution in the floor tile pattern made a high-quality transition resulting in both durability and visual flow. Pedro and Abel took great care in protecting our home, covering floors and other important things from harm, implementing several safeguards both interior and exterior. The tile saw and materials were placed on an adjacent patio, which was protected with a thick covering. The overall cleanup in and out was so good it was like they were never there. "WOW factor" is an inadequate description for the results of this project. This bathroom is gorgeous, the tiling being what sets it apart from the mere average job. We recommend Jamie O'Linn unreservedly.

I DO NOT recommend Jaime o'Linn or Style in Tile for these reasons: 1. When tiling a wet area like a tub/shower they do not use the proper waterproof paper for the job. They use exterior stucco paper/lathe instead of waterproof paper made for tiling. I found this out because I hired Style in Tile to tile my tub surround in my hall bathroom. They started the job and got to the point where they installed the waterproof paper, lathe, and started applying the cement but at that point I got into a disagreement with one of the tile worker. I asked him to cover up my bathroom's wall cabinet with plastic or paper so it wouldn't get any cement on it. The worker said no he wouldn't do it because 'he wasn't working in that area'. Also this same worker had used subpar wood to build up my wall in order to install the lathe paper. He dismantled the large box that my tile supplier shipped my tiles in. this 'wood' is very weak. It's one step up from cardboard and made just for shipping items, not for a construction project. You cannot buy this kind of wood at home depot. It's like .75 inch thick plywood with airgaps between the layers of wood. It is not solid wood. This worker was too lazy to go to the home depot and get proper wood for the job. So I wasn't happy with the quality of work and attitude of this installer so i contacted Jaime about these issues and told him I wanted a different crew for my job. He said ok but that I would need to pay for the 1 day of work his crew did and that it would take a few weeks before his other crew could start working on my job. I waited the few weeks and contacted Jaime to see when his 'other crew' would continue my job. He said there was delays at the other job which meant a few more weeks delays for my job. At this point I couldn't wait any longer and contacted other tile companies to get quotes and complete my bathroom. When the other tile companies came and saw the type of lathe paper used on my bathroom, they explained to me that this is the wrong type for the job and that if they simply tiled over jaime's shoddy work that they couldn't give a warranty on the work. They recommended that I remove everything that Jaime's installers did and install the correct waterproof paper and lathe. This new tile company thought I hired some unlicensed handyman to install my tile because they said no licensed tile installer would ever use exterior stucco paper/lathe to tile a bathroom. I decided to follow the new tile contractor's advice because I didn't want to have issues down the road. So basically I paid Jaime to install incorrect paper/lathe and paid the new contractor to remove it and install the correct paper/lathe. I told Jaime what the new contactor told me but he doesn't believe it, so I'm sure he is still installing incorrect waterproofing materials to this day. I think he does it this way to save time and money because you install exterior stucco paper/lathe in one step, whereas the proper materials requires two steps, 1) install waterproof paper 2) install metal lathe. 2. Prior to the job described above I had Jaime tile my master bathroom. Jaime did complete that job for me but it took days longer than what he originally estimated and he got very irritated about and gave me a bad, unprofessional attitude about it. He complained that 'I was costing him money'. I should have taken this as a bad sign and not hired him for my master bathroom project a couple years later but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him another shot. I regret ever hiring him in the first place because now I have a master bathroom that has incorrect waterproof paper installed under my marble tile and the only way to correct it is to demolish it and re-do it. It's like a ticking time bomb in the back of my mind. I hope it doesn't develop a leak and cause a mold problem inside my walls.

Jamie and his team at Styles in Tile are seriously the best in the business. My husband has been in construction more than 25 years and he will only work with reliable, reasonable, talented contractors. Jamie and his crew have done several jobs for us over the years. Most recently he did an amazing job transforming the first floor of our home - removing old square tile and installing beautiful imported tile that looks like real wood. The install was easy because the crew was super clean, arrived everyday as planned and worked hard to finish as planned. They finished on time and on budget, which is every homeowners dream. We loved the work so much we brought Jaime back to install again on the staircase landing. If you need tile work done you need to call Jamie Olinn. Nothing is more important than a skilled, trustworthy contractor who does what he/she says they'll do. You'll get all of this and more with Styles in Tile.

Jamie and his crews are fantastic!! They demo'd and tiled our entire first floor, plus re-tiled a downstairs shower. Everything turned out beautifully. Jamie is great with communication, and handled any little issue we had perfectly and right away. His crews showed up on time, and worked diligently throughout the project. One thing I did not initially realize: they are only tile guys. They don't do the finish work. But Jamie has a host of people he can refer you to, from painters & base molding guys, to custom shower door fabricators. He also has connections at local tile stores. I felt that everyone he referred us to was as fair & responsive as Jamie, and their work was beautiful as well. We were so pleased with our project, and with Jamie, we were recommending him to our friends even before our job was finished!

When I moved into my house in 2023 I got new flooring and the previous company did such a horrible job that the tiles started cracking right away. I finally had to do something about it. Looking for what felt like forever I finally found Hurtado's Tile and Stone. I was greeted with a warm and friendly man named Richard. We came to an agreement to do my kitchen/laundry as well as my office and outdoor tile. He helped me so much along the way with picking tile, giving advice and even getting me good deals. The projected started and his dad Efren and brother Brian started the job right on time (this has never happened and I have dealt with a lot of contractors/workers). They continue their work and were always communicating and on time. This is unheard of for me. He even helped me find someone to do another job I needed which also turned out amazing. The flooring came out exactly how I wanted it, so beautiful! The quality of work is amazing. But what is even better is they are just great people. They cleaned up after themselves and were so respectful. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

Efron is will go the extra mile to ensure work is done correctly. It is no wonder this father and sons team are receiving rave reviews and they are all true. You can trust the Hurtado's with your next project. We are already planning an other project with the Hurtado's. My wife and I really appreciate Richard, Efren, Roman and the team.
