Clean, precise, and better than the inspo photo. What makes it even better? It's a family-owned, African-owned gem with the kind of energy that makes you feel instantly welcomed. The vibes were top-tier--great convo, beautiful energy, and pure talent all around. My hair held up like a champ through two full weeks of beach days, saltwater, and sun--no joke. And while I low-key wanted to gatekeep this place (because y'all will start booking up my time slots ), it's so worth every dime. Already planning my next look with some new color combos! I visited this salon on Thursday around 10:00 AM. Before my appointment, I read several reviews,…read moreand I admit I was hesitant because some of them were negative. However, I was desperately in need of a salon that accepted walk-ins and was accessible for disabled customers, so I decided to give them a try. I am very glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and asked what services I wanted. I requested a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and a trim. I was taken right away for my shampoo and deep conditioner. Another stylist set my hair on rollers, and once I was finished under the dryer, another stylist promptly began styling my hair. The entire process was efficient, and all of the stylists I interacted with were friendly, patient, and accommodating. As someone with a disability, I especially appreciated the kindness and patience they showed me. Unfortunately, that is not always the experience disabled customers receive, so their attentiveness meant a great deal. My only minor concern was that during the deep conditioning treatment, I was not initially offered a towel to protect my clothing. I did ask for one because I did not want my shirt to get wet, and it was provided. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and the professionalism of the staff. My experience was positive, and I plan to return in the future.

Hair tech did a wonderful job coloring my hair, trimming, and giving me a blow out. I was…read moreespecially impressed with the outcome of the coloring. They were very kind and respectful and even offered me pizza the employees had just ordered while I was waiting and allowed me to borrow a charger. My only complaint is the time it took. I understand that multi-tasking is part of the job at times but doing 4 + heads simultaneously creates a bad experience for some like myself. A rough estimated wait time should be given initially because I was there for 5hrs despite them starting the coloring right away. Aside from them being understaffed, and taking too long, I'd recommend this place for my natural hair girls. I had 0 heat damage. Solid spot!
