Will even give you complimentary beverages (coffee, tea, water, juice etc.) also if you've been in there for quite some time getting your hair done and you just need something to fill your stomach they also do provide little snacks such as energy bars, granola bars etc. There are also restaurants beside the salon which is super convenient! Also, she was very accomodating and made sure I was okay - offered me drinks and something to eat. She was absolutely wonderful! I was recommended to this hair salon by a friend and I'm so glad she did. Love my new hair, thanks to Trisha. TIP: the parking is a little hard to miss. It's between a Home Hardware and a dry cleaners (right across from the Mcdonald's). The parking lot is in the back. You can also enter the hair salon from the back door. Don't be a noob like me and walk all the way around to the front, when there clearly is a back door.

I went to Avenue Salon and Spa last week and got a wash, haircut, and blowdry…read more I went in and the front desk staff were very nice and I was told to wait until my appointment started. I was called by my stylist and had my hair washed, that went fine. The issue was when he asked me what I would like done. I showed him a refrence image and told him I wanted shoulder-length layers. He verbally said "Layers?" and I went "Yes, layers". I specifically asked for layers becasue my hair tends to be flat so I need the volume. I ended up with my hair cut all one length, and significantly longer than shoulder length. I did notice that it didn't look right, but he had been cutting my hair for like an hour and a half at that point (which is way too long to cut hair one length) and I had prior engagments after my appointment so I decided to just leave it because I physically could not sit in that chair any longer. To be fair, the cut was done alright and he styled it really nicely, I am just really confused because he knew what I wanted done, we both acknowledged it verbally, and he gave me something that was literally the complete opposite of what I asked for, and took forever doing it.

So I sat down with the barber on spot. Cleary this was in inexperienced barber. 1hour and 30 min for the worst hair cut. Uneven sooo bad and the fade.. wow who knew it could be this bad. I wish I could post a picture. I will contact the owner of the shop to express my frustration shortly. How can he hire such a unexperience barber. Be aware of this barber shop.
