I love this church! It is warm and welcoming. The pastor is excellent and consistently gives Biblically accurate, practical, and challenging lessons. The worship is contemporary but balanced (not obnoxious/distracting). They have a lot of great programs for people of all ages and excellent child care so its a great church for families. read more

West Swanzey Community Church

Having just moved to Swanzey New Hampshire from Stratford Connecticut my wife Linda and I were…read morelooking for a new Church to worship our Lord in. We didn't know anyone in Swanzey or members who belong to the church. Once we got unpacked and settled into our new home, we decided to attend a service at the Community Church of West Swanzey. Everyone was very kind and gave us a wonderful reception. We felt so comfortable that Sunday that we came back again the following Sunday. The Pastor of the Church, Emmanuel Bawa is a wonderful preacher glorifying the kingdom of God in his teaching's. As for the members, they welcome us with open arms and together everyone worships and sings to the Lord. We now attend the Sunday service 10:00 am to 11:00 am and always stay a little more time for coffee and pastry social. On Fridays we attend the Bible study, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in which we all read and discuss the teachings of the Bible together. If anyone is searching for a place of worship, you will feel right at home with this Church and its congregation just as my wife and I have found it to be rewarding. God Bless you and thank you for reviewing my review of this wonderful old Community Church in Swanzey New Hampshire, and I hope you will consider visiting us soon.

And the steeple was toppled in the hurricane of 1938. Every few years since 1994, the organ has been struck by lightning! There's interesting history here :-). The spacious main hall is bright and stately. And UCC Keene is a welcoming group, active in the community, the nation, and the world.

I commited myself to growth and change and I have been clean and sober since November 20, 2023. I spent the year learning to cast all my worries upon the Lord and rely on Him to give me strength. During my time I faced the hurts of my past, rededicated my life to Christ and was baptized in June of 2024. Before graduating in October, I learned patience and received joy that no one can take from me. The staff and servant leaders truly care for each of the residents and pour out their love in all that they do. Their time and energy is truly dedicated to seeing broken lives be restored through the hope of Jesus Christ!

Our son entered last year. His resounding words about the staff and servant leaders were that everyone loved him.
