I tried Stuffed Enuff and the food was honestly 10/10! The catfish was fried perfectly--crispy on the outside and cooked just right on the inside. But the real star of the show was the mac and cheese... sooo good and super flavorful. I also got a side of wings with their house sauce, and those were a hit too--crispy and well-seasoned. My friend ordered the turkey leg, which was a little on the salty side, but still good overall. Another friend got the "Marry Me" pasta with lamb chops and OMG--the lamb chops were absolutely delicious. Definitely a standout. As far as the vibe, it was just okay. Everyone was really nice and helpful, but this particular day didn't feel like a sit-down-and-relax kind of spot. I'd probably recommend doing takeout and calling ahead next time. I'm a bit of a foodie and love supporting black owned restaurantsESPECIALLY for soul food, so when this came across my Instagram feed I was so excited to try it. The food looked amazing. I ordered on a Tuesday thinking it might be less busy. I ordered the wings, mac and cheese, yams and collard greens. When the food arrived it wasn't hot...no big deal, a microwave fixes that issue. But unfortunately that wasn't the worst of the issues. The Mac and cheese, which i was most looking forward to, looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of the pan. It had a large area of burnt crust that wasn't just toasty cheese...it was hard and not edible (in my opinion). The collard greens were almost too salty to eat and the yams were mostly a think syrup with just bits of yam in it. To say i am disappointed is a bit of an understatement. Maybe it was a bad day. Maybe they were super busy. Either way, my meal was expensive and not really worth the money. I hate to leave a bad review, I really never leave review at all so it must have been a bad experience for me to go to the trouble. So.. This is my third time ordering from this place. The first time I experience was great. The food was great and the service was great. The second time I ordered online and got to the restaurant at the time my food was supposed to be ready. It was not ready and I ended up waiting over an hour for my food. It was ridiculous. I am back in Columbus today and decided to give them another try. I ordered my food at 6pm. They said it was going to be ready at 6:40. I arrived at 6:40 and they seemed to had not even started on my food yet. I waited until 7 pm and went back up to the window to check on my meal. They still had not started on my order and told me it was going to be 20-30 more minutes. They ended being out of the sides I ordered as well. I'm pretty laid back and patient in most situations, but going through the experience of ordering from here has tested me.. lol. I think they really need to work on their time management, set pick-up times for at-least an hour from the time you order, or find a way to not get inundated with too many at one time. So the salmon comes on a bed of rice didn't realize that should've got some greens. My to go order was HEAVY!!! AFTER dropped Mr. Petty blue eyes off at the casino I DEMOLISHED that heavy plate. Now, the marry me mash potatoes are hard to explain they were just good. The Yams were sweet AF but good, tender. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect score (10/10) is that on one visit, they ran out of yams and didn't communicate it. I got home expecting yams and found extra mac and cheese instead. Had they told me, I would have chosen something else. That said, one miss doesn't outweigh a lot of great experiences. I recently visited their location, and while it's a small space, they're putting out some big flavors. Although a few things that could be improved, I am still giving 5 stars because everything was very tasty. My order was delivered piping hot, nothing was missing, and food was plentiful. I ordered two dinners just in case one was a miss, but since neither was a miss--three days I will not have to cook. I will definitely order from this restaurant again. Hopefully the following will have improvements: my wings were a tad overcooked and dry, but thankfully they were not salty like some soul food restaurants. The yams were stringy --never had yams before that had strings left in them. The red beans could have had a little juice over them so the combo of the rice and beans would not have been so dry; but they were very delicious.
