The extra blanket smelled like men's cologne which I don't think is their laundry detergent. There is a pillow situation. Each person gets 2 pillows. You get a pillow that is barely standard sized. The second pillow is the size of a small square similar to what you'd put on your couch in the corner small. With neck and hip issues we need 2 normal sized pillows each. I asked for just one more of what they consider a standard pillow and was told they don't give out extra pillows. I have traveled all over the country and the world and never have I been told I can't get an additional standard pillow, especially to alleviate physical pain. This is a ridiculous policy of the hotel. If comfort is a priority for you then pass on the Best Western.

We tried to see just how cold the water was but the door was locked. The pool area was filled with a/c units. We were traveling for baseball with another family. That family was able to get their money back We waited over 20 minutes to speak to someone but they were obviously dealing with another issue at the desk so we left and I thought I'd have to contact Priceline anyway. I did, told them the issue, they called the front desk and they lied to Priceline stating they never said the pool was closed and that they would not authorize a refund. we ended up going to another hotel and paying again for the night. Don't stay here. Don't advertise and sell rooms with the assumption you have a pool but in reality its not usable.

The Main Street Inn has thought of everything--from complimentary snacks and drinks on every floor to a well-stocked game cabinet in the community lounge. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Carson, the owner, is always nearby and ready to help with any questions or needs, making the experience feel far beyond that of a typical hotel. It truly felt like being welcomed into someone's home, while still enjoying the privacy you'd expect. Breakfast was a highlight. Carson asked what time we'd like to eat and happily accommodated our family's needs--even when we changed our time just ten minutes beforehand. That level of care and flexibility was so appreciated. I can't speak highly enough about the Main Street Inn and our stay. There is no doubt this will be our go-to place whenever we visit Vermillion again. Thank you, Carson and family, for making us feel so welcome.
