But I didn't mind for the price, and it makes it easier for those who take the class to spend it entirely on honing in the art of throwing. Overall a great start for beginners who have always wanted to try ceramics! They really create a safe space for you to mess up and learn. The walkways are lined with enormous live oaks, and the buildings give the campus a distinctly collegiate feel without losing its New Orleans character. The architecture's Gothic-inspired details make the campus feel older than it is, and it pairs surprisingly well with the subtropical landscape. Between the courtyards, brick paths, and shaded lawns, there always seemed to be another quiet corner to wander into. A really pleasant place to stroll around.
