That being said Adrianna was great and gave me a wonderful highlighted look even though it wasn't what I originally wanted. She ended up getting advice from her boss which I thought showed great professionalism! In the end the conclusion was to do a bunch of highlights and blend it together. she took out my foils, changed the mix, and it worked out! She was very on top of things during the whole process, making sure my hair was not getting damaged because of the reaction it had in the beginning. It was also reasonably priced for the amount of time she spent on my hair! Would recommend!

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE!…read more I would include photos if I could, but that is not an available feature. I asked for one thing and got something not even similar. I showed the hairdresser [named Jess] what I wanted from a photo on Pinterest and she stared at it for about 30 seconds. She said, "It looks like a balayage...yeah...it looks like a balayage." Clearly, she is not qualified to do balayage and it appalls me that she attempted to do something that she isn't qualified to do and isn't even sure what the hairstyle is. Also, there was dye left all along my hairline and in my ear. The hairdresser was constantly wiping my cheeks because she kept getting dark hair dye on them. I had to scrub my skin when I got home in order to get it all off. I will not be returning to Avant for any hair treatments, or treatments in general. I paid $220 for something I am very disappointed in. I sought correction from a far better hair dresser at Salon Seva.

After choosing said treatments I scheduled for a Sunday at 2:00 pm. Their hours on Sundays are 12- 6 pm. When I arrived for my appointment at 1:55 for my 2:00 appointment I checked in and my hairstylist walked me back and told me we didn't have time to do what I wanted, so she was just going to do highlights, so first visit $150 and I was leaving at 6:00 with not what I wanted and having to reschedule to comeback. We ended up rescheduling once due to a snow storm and once because I was sick. Finally I showed up for my rescheduled appointment at 12:00 pm. I was there again until 6:00pm and again leaving with not what I wanted and another $150 down the drain. So $300 down the drain! I get married in less than 6 months and my hair looks like shit from how damaged it is, it honestly looks like I style my hair with way too much heat on my hair and I RARELY style my hair with heat, and by that I mean literally maybe 2x a year max for a special occasion. I'm attaching the Balayage style I was going for with my natural hair VS. what I received. And from previous reviews even on google, I doubt I will get a full refund or even a portion of it back.

Even though it was early on a Saturday morning, Mikki and Jadie were both super friendly and fun! The weather, however, was not cooperative at all. It was pouring cats and dogs when we got there, and the rest of the day was super humid. Amazingly, all of our hairstyles actually stayed in place and looked beautiful throughout the day (and night)! Mikki and Jadie really know their stuff! The salon itself is quiet and clean. I had no trouble finding a parking spot nearby. One of my close friends (the bride) gets her hair cut and colored by Mikki on a regular basis, and it always looks great. I highly recommend checking out Fringe Salon!
