I chose them because they had quite a few examples of cat portraits, in addition to the dog photos. So I purchased a gift certificate and a couple months later we had the photo shoot. The photo shoot itself went very, very well. We have a friendly dog who was pretty eager to cooperate, but also two older Siamese mix cats. Christina and John were very patient and let the cats come to them, and the photos were exceptional. We didn't really think the cats would cooperate, but in the end we had great photos of all three pets - photos that really show their personalities. I wholeheartedly recommend Christina and John, especially if you have cats.

The heart of any great photographer is their ability to capture a moment. If they have an eye for…read morea particular look or feel, that's great too, but only every so often do you see someone who can truly tell a story and capture a subject's soul. With LD, you get that kind of photography. We've used Laura on several different occasions all for vastly different reasons. Laura initially was hired to do a "boudoir" shoot with my husband as a birthday gift to me. I would review those photos, but that would be a little too personal and as much as I love my Yelp followers, none of you are privy to THAT level of intimacy. ;) Laura also got some awesome shots of our little babies... We have an English and two French bulldog who are total camera hams. She did an awesome job at capturing their little personalities and we proudly display those beautiful pictures in our living area. Most recently, this past fall, Laura met me and my family at Boulder Falls for a photo shoot mainly showcasing my 2 year old niece and all her beauty. The plan had been to not only get candid family photos, but also give us physical memories that highlight what it means to be a family. Laura was able to capture many moments shared between each of us, and she also provided helpful suggestions to maximize the impact of every photo. It was great to see her work so flawlessly with a 2 year old who has a reputation of being quite the little Mariah Carey, if you know what I mean. Furthermore, Laura produced photos that captured each of our four personalities as well as how we interact together. So, if you're looking for someone that can produce awesome photos whether it's family, festive, frisky, or even Fido related, do yourself a favor and give Laura at LD Photography a call.

My family typically does fall photos, but this was the first time we ever shot with a professional pet photographer- let me tell you the experience was amazing! With cats and a dog, staying in our backyard made the most sense. She came over and had lots of patience with our crazy crowd (4 cats/1dog.) She was great in allowing the cats to just roam around and she got some great shots. Thinking about how a couple of the cats just hated this idea the shots she got were awesome, they look so majestic! Our dog, well he was so excited for a new friend and she was very nice to his puppy ways. The review process was great and easy to pick the photos we liked the best. She prints out 5x7 ones so you can filter through them by hand instead of on a computer. They were all good but had to narrow it down. Our Christmas card this year will be awesome! It was my first time ever doing anything like this and it was pretty easy and would definitely do it again!
