Based in the heart of Trastevere, this is the second location of Ryoga in Rome!…read moreThey just opened when I experienced a few of their classes and although there were a few things I didn't like so much, overall - I'm a fan... Changing Room The changing area is quite small, but they have a lot of lockers to store your personal belongings. Inform at the desk in front for a lock; I just found that out at the last day and I left my locker open all the times I was in here. I didn't have a problem with that as I'm quite careless by nature, but in retrospect - it does feel it little more safe to have a lock on your locker. There aren't many showers and they're quite unhandy - where to leave my clothes and towel? Over the door, partially getting wet? That was the only thing I really didn't like to be honest. But, a big YAY for cleanliness overall! The classes and studios They have 3 different studios, of which one can be transformed into a big one. They offer multiple classes and a very good selection for beginners to pro's! From pilates to aerial, from athletic hot yoga (prepare for a FULL ON workout!) to therapeutic yoga and all the varieties you can think of (Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Ashtanga, power yoga, Iyengar) and many more. Also meditation and yin / yang practices. I really really liked the pilates and aerial yoga, but was no fan of the therapeutic yoga. If you don't speak Italian like me, inform the teacher but I'm afraid not all teachers are skilled in the English language. Ryoga is definitely a great yoga studio and provides you with all the basics; the mats (if you don't want to bring your own), blocks, blankets - everything you need. They also sell clothes in front of the store, and the service is friendly. Italian though, so prepare to wait... It's still a type of service I need to get accustomed to. They have different types of memberships and offers; drop in classes are quite expensive (compared to other studios), and I was suuuuuper happy with my week-deal! For €50, you have unlimited acces to all classes for one week! Definitely recommend if you'd like to experience the studio and several classes first before you're tight to a membership!!

Dishonest business. Refuses to provide refunds even when it's their mistake. Be careful. Do not…read moresign up for a multi-month pass right off the bat. Instead, opt for a one month trial. Get the prices and bring them home to study before you pay them on the spot.
