I have used Pandora twice, once to have custom earrings made using turquoise and my elk ivories and to have them custom make a necklace with my ivory. To everyone, I lost my sweet 14 yr old granddaughter to suicide. I asked Liz at Pandora if they could create a necklace to honor her using my elk ivory. They created an awesome necklace using Maddie's birthstone, my ivory and angel wings. What a wonderful job! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are so disappointed that we chose to work with Studio Pandora. I would not recommend them to anyone. Customer service is not unfriendly but certainly not helpful. Custom work and sizing is absurdly slow. Policies do not favor customer satisfaction at all. After months of back and forth we are stuck with an engagement ring that is crooked and improperly sized. We had much better luck elsewhere. read more

I cannot say enough of about the professionalism, hospitality, and now friendship, of Karahan, Cheryl and their staff. When my husband wanted a custom Philipsburg sapphire wedding ring, Cheryl and Karahan made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Since then, we have moved to Alaska and come home once a year. They are a "must-stop" shop and we look forward to seeing them every time! This past Christmas, I needed my ring re-sized and we had a short window to get it done. Karahan made it a priority and was able to take care of the ring literally over-night! If you're looking for amazing craftsmanship and incredible customer service in Missoula, this is where you find it. I originally went to Studio Pandora to resize my engagement ring. We were so taken by the warmth of their hospitatlity, that we chose them to create my now husband's wedding ring as well as our engravings. The ring turned out beautifully. The engravings however, were only half done; see, unfortunately, the equipment used to do the engravings broke down before there were able to finish the second engraving. This was of course, out of their control and understandable. We weren't upset with them; however a bride learning a few days prior to her wedding that her future husbands ring would be lacking- kinda freaks the frack out. Instead of breaking the news to us and letting us fend for ourselves, they sat me down with a glass of wine and offered their sincere apologies, directed my then fiance which nearby jewelry stores might be able to finish the job last minute, gave us a refund for the unfinished ring, and then sent us home with a bottle of white wine. How amazing can you get? They also use cruelty free diamonds and donate to wildlife/natural resource nonprofits. read more

I am sad to say that I was very disappointed with my first (and it will be the only one) experience with Studio Pandora. It started good though. I had them fix a slightly too big ring for me, and when I first brought it in the woman that helped me was very polite and took care to remember and pronounce my name correctly (most people don't so that is always nice). They called me when the ring was ready (they were accurate in their estimate of how long it would take) and I picked it up when I got back to Missoula the following week. The same woman was there and she still remembered my name (and still said it right) and that I was picking up my ring. The fit was perfect (the advice to make it just slightly bigger than a size 5 turned out to be great). However when I left the store I noticed that the signature on the ring had been partially smudged. The ring was a gift from a close (native american) friend and he had had his sister-in-law (a talented traditional artist) make it for me. She had signed the ring with her full name (hand engraved) and while this was on the back of the ring it was for me still an essential part of it and I feel that they were careless with something that of course was an important part of the ring. I immediately went back into the shop, and was told that she could see what I was talking about, but that it of course was unintentional. I have to say that I felt very disappointed with this response. Of course I I understood that it was unintentional. The problem was that it happened in the first place (could they not have covered the signature with something while they were working on it?). Mistakes do happen, but to me, the problem was that the person that worked on it had done nothing to try to fix this, nor was it pointed out to me when I picked it up. I made the mistake of only focusing on the perfect size and didn't turn it over until I left the shop. When I brought it back I was offered no apology and no compensation (even a small, symbolic discount of $5 would have made me feel that they at least tried). In the end they said they would try to polish it and fill in the missing letters and I came back a couple of hours later to pick it up. It was an improvement, but they had not done a great job and I still got no apology. I feel that this was poorly handled and that a different attitude, and a symbolic discount would have made all the difference. Studio Pandora is run by Karahan and Cheryl Balli. Full disclosure, they were my neighbors. That said, they helped me pick out an engagement ring for my wife. They were easy to work with, helped me take my concept and turn it into a reality and did amazing work for a great price. They are always friendly, easy to work with and are extremely generous. They donate and contribute to many local nonprofits - always a good sign of people who care about their community. read more
