Instead they focus on more the hows and whys of art, and how to see things in a way nobody else sees them. It's a weird place, and lots of weird stuff comes out of here. But I like it. It kind of breaks my brain.

From the owner: Het rotterdamscentrumvoortheater (sinds 2015 in samenwerking met Theater Maatwerk) geeft sinds 1988…read moreprofessioneel onderwijs in deeltijd voor iedereen vanaf 8 tot 80 jaar. De profielen in deze kaderopleiding zijn spel, regie, theatercoach voor school en straat. Daarnaast produceert het rcth educatieve theatertrajecten voor het basis, voortgezet en Hoger onderwijs op basis van maatschappelijke thema's. Jaarlijks maakt het rcth een grote productie voor regulier publiek. Sinds 1 januari 2015 werkt het rcth structureel samen met Theater Maatwerk en Galerie Atelier Herenplaats onder artistieke leiding van directeur/theatermaker Paul Röttger. Samen ontwikkelen zijn deze instellingen op weg naar een vernieuwde culturele instelling vanaf 2017 waarin professionele kunst wordt gemaakt en opleidingen worden gegeven voor kunstenaars met en zonder een beperking.
