We found Michael Anderson Photography via theknot.com and immediately knew we wanted him to do our wedding. The price was right and his pictures beautiful. We added his wife, Joanie, as our second photographer and it was worth every penny. It was pouring rain on our wedding day, which threw everything off just a bit, but Michael and Joanie were calm and cool the whole time. Joanie was taking pictures of the girls getting ready, while Michael was with the guys. I just found out that he pinned the boutonnieres on all the men, in order to make sure they looked perfect, which I think was a very nice touch. We were supposed to get married at a vineyard, but Mother Nature had other plans. Even so, Michael and Joanie went out there with my groom and I to do a few quick shots, because it is such a beautiful space. This involved changing cameras and lenses and things, but Michael and Joanie did it with no fuss and no muss. Once back at the church for the wedding, they changed their equipment again, and again it was a non-issue. My point is they wanted great pictures as much as we did, and were willing to do whatever necessary to make that happen. They were inconspicuous during the ceremony itself but still managed to get some great shots.We did all the group pictures after the wedding, and at the time, I was concerned at how quickly they were moving through the various groups. My concerns were unnecessary, though; when I saw the proofs, it's clear that Michael and Joanie know what they're doing. My groom and I were super happy the whole day, and it showed in the pictures. However, even when we're super happy, we don't always photograph well (and my groom hates having his picture taken besides). Michael and Joanie were able to keep us loose and relaxed throughout the entire process, and capture our happiness magnificently. Bottom line: Michael Anderson Photography is terrific and you should use them.

Their back to back Knot Wedding awards show how unique and special that these photos truly are. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of them when I got married, but they captured another special moment for my family. We took advantage of their Best Santa Experience, and I am in awe by the fact that we magically captured a moment in time. I had a bad experience with our wedding photographer and was really looking for someone who we could turn to time and again over the years to photograph our growing family. In short, we wanted someone we could build a relationship with. We found that with Alicea. She is so easy to work with and is really flexible with her schedule. And her prices are more than reasonable. We did the 5 session baby's first year plan. We did maternity pics, newborn, 3 month, 6 month and 1 year. Alicea wowed us from the maternity session and didn't stop there. She had all these great props to enhance our newborn daughters photos but still Not take away from her at all. My whole family joined us for the 3 month pics and we captured some wonderful family photos with my daughter. Our 1 year photos were amazing with balloons and a cake smash in a beautiful outdoor park. And to top it all of with the baby plan you get an album full of pictures from each session to celebrate your baby's first year!
