I was a bridesmaid in a friend's MN wedding this past spring and was initially a bit skeptical…read moreabout spending a whole day (not to mention a good chunk of money) at a makeup studio. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a perfect venue for preparing and relaxing before the big event. The space is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with an assortment of essentials (including things that you wouldn't normally find at a makeup studio, like extra phone chargers and anti-static spray). Brett was fun, friendly, and low-key; exactly what you need to be to handle several consecutive hours with a bridal party (no matter how chill we thought we were). The only reason I'm not ready to give this five stars is that we all noticed a significant quality difference between Brett's hair and makeup work and that of her colleague. The second girl was friendly and gave it her best shot, but clearly not as experienced or confident as Brett was. I was in the non-Brett group, and all of us did a fair bit of adjusting in the bathroom after she finished with us. Certainly not a big deal (and we were still pretty happy overall), but the contrast with Brett was noticeable and mildly disappointing.

Last summer for a newborn/family photo session and more recently a mini session with our son at 10 months. She has a great eye and produces the most beautiful and natural photos. When we first contacted her to photograph our newborn, I had no idea that newborn photography needed to be booked out in advance (first time mom here!). She kindly made herself available last minute, on the weekend, nonetheless, when it was best for our family. Then, during our last session (the mini) she kindly extended our time free of charge as she had a cancellation in the spot after us. After the photos came in and I got knit-picky about how my cleavage looked in my favorite family photo she so very patiently and graciously edited out and made it look ten times better (I could not emphasize just how patient she was with me about this - thank you, Rebeccah!). She incredibly talented and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
