I sent them an email of what I wanted for them to prep and a paid a deposit that went towards the tattoo total. I'm so bad with names. I forgot my tattoo artist name but I do remember his face. He showed me the design, we decided on the placement and got to work immediately. Even though I don't like needles and I voiced that, the artist ensured me that everything will be fine. Everything was sterilized and I watched him open up everything and set up everything as well. He was slow but intricate and I really REALLY appreciate that. My tattoo came out amazing! Not only was Esther unable to complete the initial piercing due to an inability to connect the jewelry, she took it upon herself to pierce the skin a second time in attempt to salvage our business. She rambled in Dutch the entire time, although we made it very clear we speak English. Esther cried on multiple occasions, apologized profusely and proceeded to charge my friend 65 €. We left the establishment and immediately found a piercing shop nearby, who gladly sanitized my friend's ear (covered in blood) and removed the piercing. Please avoid Ink Your Skin and take your business elsewhere.

They put in the stencil and I asked them to make minor changes a couple of times and they said "lady you are taking way too long, if you don't know what you want then leave". I was very upset because I knew exactly what I wanted, they just didn't had the patience to listen to me about ink I am going to have on my body for the rest of my life. They didn't give me a heads up about how long should I be taking before getting inked either, so I felt like I wasn't treated fairly. It's a very enjoyable place to be, which is important if you're going to be spending several hours getting tattooed. I can't wait to go back and finish up my arm soon!
