Many quality book titles were available for sale to peek even the youngest child's interest. However, the planetarium show was not what I was expecting. It seemed a little outdated. Small enough to wrap your hands around but packed with really good information. There is also an interactive "river crossing" where you are in a wagon and it moves a bit to simulate crossing a river. Really unique and i appreciated the experience. The employees were also exceedingly friendly and went out of their way to engage with us, teach us what they found interesting and gave a nice restaurant recommendation to boot. Definitely add this to a trip to Casper.

If you are passing through Capser, the museum of the trails is a FREE must do stop…read more Firstly, the views from the parking lot and entrance are spectacular of Casper and the Casper MT. Secondly, its free! Clean rest rooms and lots of historic information about Casper and the local areas. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about all the local history. You'll learn about the migrants on the Oregon Trail, (yes the video game is based on a true story) Farmers going to Oregon, Gold miners going to Sacramento and San Fran, (the original 49ers) and the Mormoms going through to SLC. There are interesting exhibits, videos and a large auditorium show of life on the trail, which is really rather informative. The museum covers trails before the migrants, settlers moving across US and the progress of the Pony Express, Telegraph and Railroads. The museum has a few neat simulators for kids such as riding a prairie cart through the river. Sitting in a Wells Fargo stage coach and even experience how it was to pull a 150lb hand cart through the 1000 miles of wilderness. Definitely worth your time, can be done in 1 hour, most likely take 2.

It pains me to have to give such a low review to this family attraction. My husband, family, and I…read morehave come multiple times to enjoy Green Acres and have not been disappointed.... Until yesterday (10/26/2024). My 1 year old son and I decided to get on their ride that takes you from one side to the other size of the corn maze. Unfortunately, the ride was so bumpy and wavy we almost fell off and my child who is healing from a recent concussion almost hit his head. After we (me and a few others on the ride) had asked them to stop the ride the man did not. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he did not see us or hear us. HOWEVER, the way he and the supervisor handled the situation was close to harassment. The driver yelled at my face when I brought it to his attention and in the process was spitting all over me telling me it was my fault for choosing to get on the ride. I decided to then address the owner about this disgusting behavior. It happened that I was on the phone when the owner came to talk to me. He RUDELY told me to get off the phone and "talk to me, I'm right here." The owner did not even take the time to hear the whole situation and just bribed me with "2 free tickets, free food, and $100." I feel stereotyped like some mom who is just making a big scene for money. The owner constantly interrupted me while I was speaking and belittled me by telling me I was the only mom in the entire place not happy. He was right, but no other mom was just yelled at and spit on after bringing up a potential medical episode. The issue was not resolved as his worker did not apologize to me for the rude behavior and the owner simply said that he has so much more he needs to be doing than to be talking to me. When I addressed the safety concerns I had about not being able to stop the ride, the owner said that under no circumstances would he ever allow the ride to be stopped. I would like to suggest that this is actually a true safety hazard. If someone is having a seizure, a heart attack, or any kind of medical emergency..... you will not stop the ride? My son, healing from a concussion was about to hit his head and I was struggling to stay on the ride safely. Thankfully we are ok, but it would have been so sad if someone got hurt just because of the driver's lack of care. We loved this place because it's soooooo fun, but sadly they will not be receiving my business anymore in the future. I just want my voice as one mama to be heard. If you are being harassed like I was harassed by these two men, stand up for yourself. I will be telling all of my local fellow friends and family about this experience as well.

The cockleburs in the maze were horrible this year! Yeesh. I ended up pulling them from my feet and ankles and could barely walk through the maze at all.
