I was really happy with the store layout and the amount of fabric choices. I'm used to 45 to 60 inch wide fabrics and these are long, maybe 4ft wide!! Priced by the meter I got 3 meters for 33$ about 205DKK, so it was about 9€ a meter, very reasonable!! Staff was friendly, lots of patterns, buttons, zippers, interfacing, fluff, yarn etc.

It's an underground shop, full of lots of things but not a lot seemed to be of much quality. I had hoped to find handmade things by local producers and I only found a couple such things. Anders (the guy behind Handcraftedcph) was so wonderful to work with. My husband and I ordered our…read morewedding bands from him and they came out better than we could have ever imagined. We've gotten so many compliments on our rings and their unique and well made designs. Anders was so easy to work with via Facebook messenger and it was so easy to find his shop on Sønder Boulevard. When my husband picked up our wedding bands I also had him get two pairs of small earrings and Anders gave us a small discount on everything :) I will absolutely be going back to him for more jewelry in the future. His store is perfectly situation in Vesterbro among cute coffee shops and boutique stores. A great little stop on the weekend if you want to check out some beautifully crafted Danish design and jewelry. He also collects antiques and vintage home items, which he also sells in his store. The store itself is pretty small there are some cute benches outside to sit and enjoy a coffee or put on the jewelry you just bought :) Bonus note: His instagram feed is beautiful and is a great way to see all of his jewelry online. We went here as part of my friends bachelorette party, where she was the one who had to be creative and blow glass. Her sisters bought a package offer for the bride, so while she was active we ,who participated at the bachelorette party, watched. We were seated out in the cozy garden/little yard in the back (so it was kept private) and champagne, juice and water was served. While we were in the garden we could see in the workshop where the activities were going on. I always thought glass was simple to make, but I learned there is a lot more to it. Glass working is a fast process, and when you are a novice you really need a good instructor. This instructor was very pedagogical and introduced the bride-to-be carefully about the glass blowin techniques, demonstrated how to use the equipment etc. in order for her not to get hurt by the steaming red hot glass. He helped her and involved her carefully in the process of making. The only thing I was not found of was that the process was quite time-consuming in order to make 2 glasses and we were just sitting there and watching. Glass blowin is very fascinating and recommendable, but I wouldn't recommend it for bigger arrangements. It is more suited for few people.

Supercute, pricey modern Danish design living store…read more After having a disappointing time at the Design museum, we went out the next day expressly looking for modern shopping. So after a lunch and wander around Torvehallerne, we stumbled by this store. Very cute design-y stuff, pricey of course to these American eyes but still really nice stuff. Them and another store across the street had some of the best modern design touches we'd seen in all of Copenhagen, definitely worth a visit for home goods if in the area.
