It felt like the epitome of an average hotel at the Holiday Inn Express level. It wasn't super fancy or nice or new or fresh, and the person at the front desk wasn't that friendly, but it was fine. The room was clean; the beds were comfy; the front-desk person was efficient and thorough. The parking lot didn't feel sketchy, but since this particular visit, I have learned that almost all hotel parking lots are sketchy. As in don't leave anything in your car--not that I would ever do that. I live in San Francisco! We checked in late at night, slept, and checked out in the morning on our way to Corvallis; so we never really saw the place during the day.

You will only be permitted to get to your room thru the front door; the alternate entry doors have ramps-and one big step before you can enter. When to do so, you will enter stairwells to go from 2nd floor to 3rd floor, and sus elevators *might* hold you and one luggage item. Get it together, Quality Inn by CHOICE hotel group-the Americans With Disabilities Act---a federal law--is more than 30 years old and you are violating it with insufficient ADA accommodations and all but one access point to disabled customers. I regret my decision to stay one night here. Learn from this fail and skip this place until it is in compliance with federal law, vehicles are not permitted to hog 5 parking spots, and the tiny parking lot is given ultra bright lights to keep travelers and their vehicles safe. One minor quibble (actually, two): the facial tissue dispenser was empty and there was no pen & paper on the table, which I needed, to write a note with, and the vast majority of motels have them. However, I am disappointed in their "lost and found" policy. To my dismay, I had left some clothing in the dresser in my room, and didn't realize it until I arrived home. I called the motel and they told me to e-mail them and someone (the manager?) would contact me to make arrangements. Well, I e-mailed them, and waited, but no reply. I tried again the following day and, again, no response to my e-mail. I was about to give up when my friend in Albany, who was the purpose of my visit, graciously offered to pick my clothing up at the motel. When he arrived at the motel he was told that none of my clothing had been found. He then asked if my room had been rented since I left, and they said that it hadn't, so he asked if they could check my room, and sure enough, my clothing was where I had left it. Whether or not that room had since been cleaned immediately after I vacated (and the maid neglected to open the dresser) I don't know. I would have left a four-star review but because of the incompetent manner in which they reacted/non-reacted to my e-mails it gets them docked one star. Surely, I'm not the first person to have left something, and, therefore, they need to come up with a (better) system to help with lost and found items.

I have a very scared girl and a hyper-aware boy that needed a place to stay while my sister from out of state visited. I was so VERY impressed with the whole facility and with the care they received, also the Facebook updates with videos and photos helped me keep an eye on the kiddos and had a great time watching them from afar.
