**Update** Shane, your response contains several claims that simply do not match what actually…read morehappened. In my 1st FB msg to you I said I was looking to sell to a collector not a reseller. You said you were interested & asked for my list. Your rude $100 offer for the full lot made it clear you were valuing the collection as a reseller. As I pointed out that 1 record alone was worth over $100, you lectured me that people searching Google don't know what they're doing. I stated I hadn't relied on just Google & that my research was on Discogs. You stated Discogs is where you'd be selling them which made it obvious you were looking at the lot as resale inventory not a collector purchase. The place of the contact is irrelevant. I said from the start I would only sell to a collector & you presented yourself as one. Your "took the vinyl out of 1 of the jackets" statement isn't exact. Your report of the inspection does not match what occurred. I brought 22 LPs. The only 1 that you didn't remove from its jacket was the album that was sealed. You pulled ALL other LPs from their jackets by removing the inner sleeves, turning them from how I had them to prevent the records from sliding out, removed the LP, & reinserted the sleeves in another direction than they were 1st in. Anyone who regularly handles records knows sleeves are set intentionally to protect both vinyl & jacket seams. That basic handling practice is something collectors learn early on. & the jacket you damaged? The seam didn't just 'give way in the corner' The full side of the jacket split while you were pushing the sleeve back in & trying to force it in. Before that the seam was intact. You also barely looked at the 53 45s you said you were interested in. As someone claiming 20 yrs in the business it was shocking that you flipped thru them so quickly that you didn't notice 1 of them was missing its jacket. Since the store has cameras in it let's review the recording of the dealings together. It'll show how many records you removed from their jackets & how you handled them proving your response to be WRONG. My value estimate wasn't based on a casual internet search. It was based on Discogs research & other sites using recent sales & current listings for the same albums in like condition, the same marketplace you said you use. You may feel your offer was fair. I did not. Offering $100 for the entire collection after saying the records were in very good shape is why I was clear from the start I was looking to sell to a collector not someone pricing the collection as resale inventory. This review reflects my experience. Those reading this can look at both sides & decide for themselves. Experiences like this make the 2.9-star Yelp rating much easier to understand. Based on my experience, I'd strongly caution considering doing business with Shane. I contacted him 1st via FB & told him I had many albums I was looking to sell. I made it CLEAR I was interested in selling to a collector not a reseller. I asked if he was interested & he said he was. He gave me his email address & I emailed him a list of my collection. He replied with the albums he said he was interested in & wrote, in part: "Some of these titles have collector value, while others are common & generally not of interest to collectors," & "In terms of an offer, I'd need to see them in person as condition plays a big factor." I told him I needed to buy a crate to transport the records & let him know when I'd be coming into the store. When I arrived, Shane went through all the LPs by roughly pulling the sleeves out of the covers, turning the sleeves which I had positioned so the records wouldn't fall out, then removing the records. When he put the sleeves back he didn't return them in the same direction I had them. On 1 of the more valuable albums he was so rough putting the sleeve back that he actually BROKE THE COVER. When I pointed it out his response was: "It's 50-year-old glue. Easy fix." ARE YOU GOING TO PAY TO FIX IT, SHANE? He then quickly flipped through my 45s put everything back in the crate, told me they were all in very good shape & offered me $100 for the entire collection. I looked at him in shock & pointed out that 1 album alone--a Tom Waits record--is worth over $100. He started lecturing me about doing research on Google. I stopped him mid-sentence & told him I'd done extensive research mostly on Discogs. He THEN told me that's where he would be selling them. WHAT PART OF "I'M LOOKING TO SELL TO A COLLECTOR & NOT A RESELLER" DID HE NOT UNDERSTAND? I made it clear in my msg that I wanted to sell to a collector not someone looking to flip them. He offered me a measly $100 for a collection I estimate to be worth well over $1,500 based on Discogs & other sites using both recent sales & current listings for the same albums in the same shape. He completely wasted my time hoping to make a quick buck off my collection & misrepresented himself as a collector just to get me in the door.

So much great stuff, literally we spend a couple hours each time we come and end up leaving with quite a few items. Prices are reasonable and they always seem to provide 20% off everything in the shop. They also have kitties up for adoption every Saturday - which is a bonus :) The staff is always helpful and friendly, and it's in the heart of old town Clovis. We poked our heads in a couple other antique shops and this one was just way better.

This antique shop feels like a collectors paradise with a ton of nostalgic pieces like Coca-Cola signs, Vintage cigarette paraphernalia, and tons of glass collectible tchotchkes. I was looking for some wall decor or maybe a tall living room lamp, but sadly I didn't find anything that really excited me. I was very surprised to find out there's an entire second back room or area filled with more goodies. This room had a lot of antique furniture, mirrors, and clothing. It felt more like a bunch of garage and estate sales put under one roof, rather than an antique shop. If you're looking to walk off a little of that gut busting brunch from Sandy's Country Junction place is definitely worth a stop.

I come in to look around every couple months and always find something I want - far too many tables and chairs, for sure! I like the way they have things set up, you can spend some time just looking at everything. I do notice things don't move too quickly, bigger items that cost more. I don't think this qualifies as an antique store but most of the items are vintage. There is a big room in the back with lots of games and gaming items - I've never gone back there to know if it's any good. I also love that this store hosts night and weekend markets where they invite other vendors to sell their items. I have found some great vendors this way.

This one is unique because it has a mini vintage toy store within it. TONS of Legos, video games, Nintendo's, GI Joes you name it. They also have a lot of vintage comics! A collectors dream with out a doubt. You can also trade or sell your old vintage toys (I posted a photo with more info). A nice touch worth noting is they offer free donuts and beverages like coffee, tea and water to enjoy while perusing through the store. The reason why I took a star off is because the actual worker on the floor wasn't very helpful, I was asking questions about some of their items and she had no clue about anything... If you enjoy vintage and thrift shopping I think this store is worth checking out at least one time !

Now that I see they've purchased from other large stores as well as HomeGoods I see that they are particularly greedy with their prices at this store. I usually love coming here because I admire their stock and the way they display their booths. As a higher up at HomeGoods I can easily recognize that tons of items in this store are purchased from HG/TJ Maxx/Marshall's and resold for usually 3-4x the price, but I've always been willing to look past that because we have so many "collectors" who buy and resell our products in various markets anyways. I recently bought a gingerbread man garland from the store for $15 and when the lady sold it to me, she said the owner of that booth "handmade" all the garlands. However, I visited Hobby Lobby a few days later and found the same garlands that were in the store that they claimed were homemade. Not to mention the garland was only $7 in Hobby Lobby. I don't mind the reselling but do not lie about your products.
