I was recommended this shop from Facebook and so happy with my experience. Not very often you find a shop with the community and vibe they have along with this talent. Dawn did my toes and really took amazing care of me. She jumped in to help with another client when a co worker went home so I waited about a hour for my services to begin which was no problem because I enjoyed my massaging chair, and meeting the owners of the shop. I'm new to the area and this is the 3rd nail salon I have been to in 6 weeks...I was dreading another crappy plain ole gel manicure and pedicure. WOW... I was I pleasantly surprised!! My pedicure and plain ole gel manicure was fabulous and the girls are super nice and very accommodating. The salon specializes in nail art, but that's not my thing. From their services, I booked for fill in nails because I had absolutely no other options for fill in with gel polish, and toe nails with gel polish, which is super basic! So I went ahead and left a comment in the comment section specifying the full basic service. When the girl that did my nails was done and I was getting ready to go to the spa chair to get my toe nails done, she was surprised at the cashier to charge me. I showed her my booking with my comment in the comment section. She apologized because she didn't know since she doesn't make the appointments. Then the other girl that does make the appointments said, "comments doesn't mean anything, it's doesn't add a service" I couldn't believe her cheap excuse and unprofessionalism. What's the comment section for if she's going to ignore the clients needs or request in the comment section? Bottom line, this is the fist time something like this happened to me. And I've been in multiple nail places all over the USA and abroad. NON have EVER ignored my needs/request, let alone let me walk out unfinished. I ALWAYS get both servives done (nails and toes) because I always match them. I had to go to another place the next day to finish the basic service. This affected the young girl business negatively with a very good client. I still tip her $10 because she's great for being basically new in the business, and I made sure to let her know to bring this incident up and be aware since she's so young and inexperienced. It really sucks that I to write this kind of review because I don't like knocking other people's hustle but I feel like this one is necessary. I honestly thought I might have found my new salon. Unfortunately I was wrong. Jeremy the nail tech there told me all about how they use the best products and he guaranteed their work for at least a week. When I left my nails were beautiful but my thumb nail started chipping on day 3 The next week and a half consisted of my nails lifting badly. 3 ended u popping of like press on nails. I had made my appointment for my next appointment already so I was going back hoping for a better lasting result this time around. When I got there they said they didn't have me down for an appointment at 3 (that's when we made it for when Jeremy scheduled it. His wife checked the book again and said she saw me down for 12pm. Not the appointment I made. In any case if u saw I had an appointment and didn't show u would think u would call and see where your client is at. That's why u took my number right?? No one called me. Well now I have 3 missing nails and no appointment. Jeremy seemed like he could care less. He was doing a client and barely looked up. His wife did a sorry excuse of an attempt to see if anyone else had an opening only after I asked her if any else was available. Basically they were like too bad so sad. I was very disappointed with the way they handled the situation. At least call to see if I was still coming then u would have known the appointment was supposed to be for 3. The disappointing part is I thought I had found my new nail salon. Now I'm still on the hunt. Advice to these owners.... have some available just in case unexpected things happen. Used to love this salon. Walked in 5:18 for a 5:20 appointment made days ago. Waited till 5:50 and had to walk out. Zero communication from anyone. Poor customer service. Not only does the service suck but it takes 2.5 hours or more to get your nails done. Also appointments are 4 weeks out because the schedule app they use blocks out time in a way that I see nail techs sitting there for an hour not doing anything. Also if your not happy with your nails (and pay anyways mind you & tip) they won't let you return. Went there 5+ months and had to go to the new girl today and was there over 2.5 hours for one color and a marble nail On each hand and a nail that's 45 degree angle straight up. To which I told her and she said it's my finger. Uhhh no my finger doesn't make the nail go up. See picture below. Then I get an email from the salon owner saying all My appointments are cancelled (wasn't planning on returning anyways). She charged me $60 for this. And she forgot top coat on the gel until I TOLD HER! Disputing charges tomorrow for this waste of money!! Literally go anywhere else! read more
