Bailey took the time to really understand what we both wanted, was very patient as we described the styles we liked (how does one correctly describe that?), and found examples on her mobile device to help us get on the same page. She has extensive experience as a stylist in different cities, worked in fashion shows and the like, and apprenticed under several high-profile professionals including those who trained under celebrity hairstylist Oribe Canales. Kudos also to the salon itself and to Chelsea who checked us in at the front desk. She was great too - warm, friendly, and welcoming. The salon is a very professional, well-run place - clean, bright, upscale, modern, and upbeat. A happy place! My mom and I felt very pampered from the minute we walked through the door. I should of realized when you have to pay for the…read moreservice when making the appointment and you are asked to include a tip before getting the address of the salon. I wanted natural looking lashes, not glued on. The first set Erica applied looked like caterpillars. She offered to try another set but while removing them, the solution that removes the glue got into my eyes. Keep in mind I wasn't asked about any allergies and no waiver was signed which were red flags. No gloves were used and no hands washed. The next set of lashes were heavy and the glue weighed them down. At this point I just wanted out and she had started working on another client. Not surprising my own lashes started falling out a few days later and my eyes remained red for a number of days. Shame on me for not asking and just trusting these would be a professional lash application. The "salon" is not cozy or inviting and the music was bizarre and irritating. Chalk it up to $125 wasted.
