Very good thick crust pizza with really nice savory flavor. We had regular pepperoni and though they were heavily impacted with a big group in town, the service was excellent. read more

super super tasty pizza with generous toppings. i loved the doughy/thick crust. we ordered to go, but they were fast getting the pizza out and it was fresh. the crust at the very edges got pretty well done (bordering on burned), but the rest was perfectly cooked. read more

Honestly the pizza was alright. Good enough but not leaving me wanting more. The center wasn't fully cooked through and I had to cut off some of it and throw it away because it was still raw dough.. BUT for a small town pizzeria it wasn't bad. read more

The food was good but the service was lousy. I asked for a ranch when the guy brought the food to the table. He told me I needed to purchase one for $1 at the register. No problem, I waited in line for 10 minutes to purchase the said ranch. When I got to the register he then told me no credit card purchases under $5. That's my grievance. I was annoyed. I would have been fine with paying a small extra charge to run the card. However, with that being said, the cheese bread was delicious. The pizza was good but lots of bread. read more

I'm convinced they serve the best pizza in America. The Maui is an experience to be lived!

Dine in is back (hallelujah!) which makes for a great meal before catching the movie next door at Centre Theater. Great pizza, great atmosphere, and the best cheesy breadsticks on the planet. Also, mellow yellow from the fountain is a serious plus! read more

Real small town feel. There was a family here sitting across 2 tables. They don't have large tables and the 2 in the middle may have been occupied. Employees were super friendly and even walks the pizza out to your table. Super small bathrooms, and they were hot. Eating area was warm as well. Bathrooms were worse than eating area as far as being hot. Bathroom was super clean. Parking was to the left side of entrance. Like 30ft away. Food: amazing pizza. The bread of the pizza is so soft, it practically melts. Of the 3 pizzas, not one was bad. The breadsticks we were fighting over. You will not go wrong with a meal here. Stop one and enjoy some fantastic pizza! read more

My friends and I were in town for the Bear Lake Trifecta and decided to carb load at Studebaker's. I was not too hungry and initially thought I could only order a medium or large pizza, but I was happy to find out they offered personal sized pizzas. My friends opted for the bbq chicken and sausage & pepperoni. I decided to take the plunge with a Crab Alfredo or something pretty exotic for the region. Well, they did a bang up job of not only delivering on a fast hot pizza with a crispy crust, but also it was loaded with cheese and meat. It was a little overloaded, but more for me! I also tried my friends sausage & pepperoni and it was proportioned out a little better, but the red sauce and crust were top notch. They're conveniently located next to the theatre which makes it a great place for a date or family night. read more

This is my all time favorite pizza. I absolutely love it. The toasted almonds on the Hawaiian pizza are *chefs kiss. I honestly am so nostalgic for this place! It takes me back to a simpler time where you would go to the movies next door and grab a pizza after. So yummy and simple! Wish I was closer and could have it more often! Great little establishment! read more

THIS PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD! DO NOT EAT HERE! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. FOUR OF OUR PERSONAL PIZZAS HAD HAIRS OF DIFFERENT SIZES ON THEM!!! And the hair were in different areas--next to the pizza, under the pizza, under a piece of sausage, in the cheese. I only knew about one of the pizzas because the other people in my group did not tell me until later! This was the worst experience I've ever had with getting take-out. The health department should shut this place down!! I should have heeded the red flags: The woman who took our order had terrible customer service; the man making the pizzas did not wear gloves nor did he wear a hair net; all three of the workers looked at us with contempt. Tourists: beware! Montpelier locals: eat frozen pizza or make your own! read more

We ordered a medium pizza: 1/2 the whole nine yards, but no peppers of any kind, the employee repeated back that no peppers of any kind would be on the pizza. the other half of the pizza was pepperoni and mushrooms. We got home home and guess what was on the pizza? Peppers! Both green and jalapenos see photo! We called the manager and all he could do was defend the idiot who took the order rather then try to make it right with local who helps to keep him going long after the summer tourist leave. Not very nice. Update: The owner contacted me and straightened the situation out. Only fair that I updated my review as well. read more

Great tasting pizzas. We ordered the Pacific Alfredo and the Meat Eaters pizzas. Both medium.-sized. Will order again when we travel through this way. read more

Took my family up to Bear Lake for KOA camping and decided to check out Idaho. Stopped by to see the Tabernacle in Paris, ID then looked for somewhere to eat. This was the first option on Yelp so we decided to take the drive north to Montpelier, ID. (There's no where to eat in Paris, ID) Ordered 3 large Pizza, 6 Med and 2 Sm drinks. Total came out under $50. We put away 2.5 pizza and left with .5 pizza. The pizza was delicious!! The wait time was about the same as a Pizza Hut dine-in wait, and the service was very friendly. There's adequate space for good size of people. The AC was nice, and overall a clean environment. It wasn't that busy when we arrived but it was getting busy by the time we left. Would definitely re-visit for some delicious pizza. If you're in the area and want some good food - I would definitely recommend this place. Five star for food, but four stars for restroom status. Restroom was clean, but very dated and out of the way. However!, it can be said that they do keep their facility as clean as they can - and work with what they have. It's been a week since I've been back from camp and I can say that no one in my family got sick. We all rolled out of there happy and ready to swim again. A nice place to sit down and enjoy your food. read more

Their pizzas are exquisite, and knowing I'm from Alaska, the pizza there was nowhere near as good as Studebakers

The price is good and the pizza are pretty good... but just good as we are in the middle of nowhere (very few restaurant around). With $6.99, we got medium BBQ Chicken with Bacon pizza. My son loved it, while I felt that the pizza is OK... very cheap to fill-in two adults and a six-year-old. While the "true star" is a-two-star, but in this part of the world, it could be considered 3.5 stars, as literally, we're in the middle of nowhere... read more

First off, pizza here is amazing. Didn't order a sub but they looked GREAT. Ordered a medium "Maui" on the lunch special, two small sodas for $11! Crust was light, fluffy while still having a crunch. Highly recommend if you're ever passing through the area. Four stars because the decor is pretty nasty, but it's not a huge deal. read more

There were so many good reviews, we were really looking forward to this amazing pizza. Maybe we didn't get the best batch but two of our pizzas were literally burned on the bottom with very little cheese. Plus the breadsticks were super dry. Although the table next to us got The Pacific pizza; crab or lobster on a white sauce. It looked and smelled delicious...we are going back to try it. We also got a combo pizza which was done to perfection. read more

Very good pizza (and I'm picky about pizza). Came down from Yellowstone and Jackson Hole and it hit the spot! Kids loved it too.

This is a phenomenal place to eat. Decor Abe building is definitely worn down and very difficult to find a menu online (and with COVID can't go inside to dine), but overall this place is fantastic. Deep dish pizza is delicious, cheese sticks are a must, and the subs are beautifully crafted. Favorite place to go in Montpelier hands down. read more

Stopped for lunch. Prices were great. Pizza was surprisingly good and the crust was great. Would eat the pizza here again.

Passing through town when we stumbled upon this store. I ordered an Italian sub. The guy behind the counter wanted to know if i wanted it hot or cold? What? I never had it served hot before and he said it is very popular with the locals. Wanted to experience something different, gave it a try and found it to be tasty and very filling. When in town, try out the hot Italian sub. read more

While traveling through Montpelier on a recent road trip, I came upon Studebaker's Pizza. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and quality of their product. Wanted pizza in Montpelier and this was the In "town place". Walk in and realized there is only one style crust-PAN!! I ordered up a meat lovers and a double pep. Sat down in the 60's dated bit long in the tooth dinning room to wait. I love these home town joints and this was no different. The pizzas were boxed up and I walked them back to the hotel. We really liked the pizza. The buttery crust was pan but crispy on the bottom and edges and soft and light in the middle. The sauce was a decent tomato taste so this was pretty Yummy pizza. The toppings were a bit tastier than my last pizza. I found this place to be pretty good and I would come back if I was here long enough. This is not brick oven or fancy pizza, it is thick pan "fill you up" good pizza. Eating "in" would be very warm though, no air today. read more

Good pizza FILTHY restaurant. Always dirty tables and booths waiting to be cleared off and cleaned. The floor - don't look at the floor. The last time we ate there it took almost an hour to get our food. When we finally asked how much longer before our pizza would be served the server looked at us in horror, ran to the back and brought it out in a box. Someone had mistakenly but it in a box "to go" and it had been sitting there for Heaven only knows how long. When she put the box on our table there was no " I'm sorry about that". She said nothing. By then our pizza wasn't hot but we were. There were only 2 tables of people in there so It's not like they were slammed and super busy. Bottom line - good pizza if you're willing to look past the other issues. read more
