The fish is a very good size, tasty and succulent, the batter is light and perfect! The chips are also spot on, I come all the way down from Brighton to enjoy these fish and chips, it's certainly worth the journey! The service is also very friendly, lovely people! Blue Ocean is located at the heart of a housing estate, which makes it easily accessible to all who live there (me included!). Their food is reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money. The staff are friendly, courteous and try their best to serve you as fast as possible without compromising on quality. All in all a great little fish and chip shop.

This place is quite popular and often has quite a big queue, never a problem though as the staff are efficient and service is spot on. Pretty consistent and always fresh food, with all the expected bits and bobs on offer. Only once or twice have I ever been let down by this place, think they had turned the cookers off a few months ago and was less than impressed with a lukewarm fish that I needed to reheat( I keep going back and that speaks for itself.
