When I tried to refill my monthly prescriptions, they were denied and I was told I needed to make an appointment to be seen. I did and upon arriving I was told that they had dropped me from care, thus my scripts were rejected. When I ask why, I was told I needed to talk to the office manager, I said great when can I see her? I was then told that the best that could be done was for me to call her, leave my name number and reason for calling, I suggested just a moment of her time while I was there and was told she was much to busy dealing with current patients, after all they take precedent over current patients. The sad fact is I like Dr. Lowney, I'm not real sure what went wrong.

The date has been delayed. I needed to have my husband's Rx's refilled!! The new number pointed out that the old office had a legal responsibility to take care of it. It took forever to get through on their phone system. It makes it nearly impossible to talk to a human, either keeps repeating the menu or just disconnects. I finally got thought and found he had to be seen by someone in that office to get the refills. He has. And I have. Ow made him an appointment with a new dr. I left her practice six months ago. I had no confidence in her.

However, if you have a need requiring contact by phone with the office staff, good luck. Your call will not receive a timely or courteous response for days, even a week. My husband has dealt with them numerous times regarding prescription refills, health issues, etc. He has been patient and courteous to the point of ultimate frustration, but we have never dealt with a more uncaring and rude staff than this group. It's truly a shame that they are the public face representing this group. This review will not include a five star review simply because of the staff and is no reflection on Dr. Winslow or Stephanie Powell, NP.

I've never had issues with waiting to see the doc and she hasn't ever tried to "hint" at specific medications or programs. I've always had a great experience with her staff as well. Everyone clearly knows what they're doing in the office and I'm able to get appointments when I need them. Dr. Yuan even agreed to see me the day after I'd arrived home from China in Jan 2020. Thankfully no COVID. I'm not sure I could recommend her or her practice more. This isn't some place with 40 doctors where you see a different person every time and that's really beneficial because she's gotten to know who I am, what works for me and what doesn't.
