I specifically want to review this physical therapy center with the focus being my experience working with Valerie (my physical therapist) in relation to my medical condition, EDS. But I will say that walking into the Marlton branch, I found the atmosphere to be light, friendly, and welcoming, and the secretaries to be down to earth. To start with, I had come from a traumatic experience with a different physician and begged to at least be referred to a PT. At first, Valerie did not know that I suffered from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, as well as several other rare diseases, and yet by what can only be described as an act of God, I was paired up with the one employee who has EDS! We were both floored when we found out. If you are reading this, and you have a chronic illness, you can appreciate what a blessing it is to have a medical professional who personally understands what you are going through! Rather than shutting me down the moment I tried to share my own unique experiences and needs, she ASKED ME if I wanted to spend our first visit discussing my chronic illnesses and how a personalized plan could specifically help me. She is one of the ONLY doctors who has been willing to listen and not just talk at me or plow ahead with treatment. It honestly made me want to cry... It was that powerful of an experience. Her willingness to share from her own health journey and her personal research opened my eyes to a number of things I hadn't considered. That kind of knowledge is priceless. One thing that really impressed me, was her ability to willingly admit when she didn't fully understand a topic, or know the answer to a question I had. Crucially, she always framed this admission with an eagerness to reach out to others in the medical community who may better understand or have answers that she didn't. In my experience, this is going the extra mile. It's the difference between wishing a patient with a complicated case well, and actually moving toward getting them the help that they need. In a few words, Valerie is knowledgeable, compassionate, and driven. For anyone who is a "tough case," especially anyone with EDS, I can't recommend Valerie enough. She is a GEM!!! read more

The experience I had at Strive's Princeton branch was amazing. I was prescribed vestibular therapy in January 2022 due to a severe vertigo episode and was recommended there by two Otolaryngologists I regarded highly. The receptionist, Lisa, and my therapist, Jared Burch, PT, DPT, AIB-VAM, went extra lengths in scheduling me in as early as possible due to the urgency and severity of my condition. In order to accommodating my schedule, they even extended their office hour. Jared, my therapist, was well-trained in the field. He was keen, thorough, patient, and extremely capable. He carefully observed and assessed my conditions, and administered treatment decisively. My symptoms were mostly gone within days of the treatment. I was literally cured after only one session!! Besides Jared's expertise, what impressed and moved me most was Jared and Lisa's care and kindness. At time of scheduling, Lisa took time in advising me to pre-arrange after-treatment transportation due to the nature of therapy I probably needed to go through. After the treatment while I was recovering from dizziness and nausea, which might be part of the treatment process, they were so kind as to allow me extra-time to stick around even though it had long past their closing time. They refused my repetitive requests to leave me, with Lisa accompanying me outside and waiting with me in January coldness until my transportation arrived. She further gave my driver detailed instructions so that I could have a smooth ride home. The expertise, professionalism, care and kindness demonstrated by Jared, Lisa and all the staff at Strive at Princeton were far and beyond. I came to Strive with a torn rotator cuff surgery. At 53, I was very concerned about a long and painful rehab. I had heard all the stories from people who went through it. The first time I walked through the door I felt welcome. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Andrew was the first therapist. He did my initial evaluation and came up with an initial treatment plan. I had literally no movement and was super nervous. He put me at ease and my whole attitude towards recovery turned 180 degrees. At the time I was working 2 jobs and Strive worked around my crazy schedule, my times were scattered all over the place. Because of this, I got to get several therapists work on me. Each one brought something new, different and challenging to my plan. It never got boring or repetitive and the pain wasn't close to what I anticipated. The last month my therapist was Jackie. Although fresh out of college Jackie was super smart and had a way of knowing how much and when to push me. She was great and really helped me to get where I am now. Went to Strive on recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Had been struggling with neck and back issues for over a year which caused me to b inactive and discomfort when sitting or laying down. Had been to several doctors and physical therapy, including Rothman, and could not get relief until I went to Strive. The folks at Strive do an in depth evaluation on day one and than develop a program of various stretching and stength activities based on ones abilities. They provide individual attention at every session and follow your progress closely to see if you are achieving the desired outcomes. They asked each time I went how I was feeling and would change my routine depending on my feedback . My condition has improved to the point that I can now return to the gym and can sit and lay down without issues. Never will b 100% every day but can managethem when they do occur with the tools they provided. Every one of the therapist were a pleasant and caring. I began Vestibular Rehab at Strive in Robbinsville after experiencing Vertigo for the first time in my life (and hopefully the last). I didn't even know Vestibular Rehab was a thing - but I'm so happy it is and happier that I was introduced to it at Strive. From the moment I called in to schedule my appointment I was made to feel like there was hope. The Therapists are highly skilled and extremely professional. Everyone there is very welcoming. The vibe in the center is amazing but more importantly the progress I've made has made my life so much better. I've seen my symptoms diminish since I began my therapy. Anyone who has experienced Vertigo knows that it can make you question whether there's a deeper issue. Coming to Strive has ensured me that there's no deeper issue and has helped me get to a much clearer space. After 2 months of issues I can finally say I'm feeling like myself again because of Strive (I've been coming a few weeks now). I had my third knee replacement five months ago. I was going to a different Physical therapy facility because it was close to my home but after several attempts, it felt as though my knee just was not getting stronger instead, I found the therapy to be more painful. About a month ago. My doctor recommended that I try Aqua Therapy. I searched the Internet and found Strive, aquatic therapy in Moorestown New Jersey. I have only been going for three weeks but already I've noticed a huge difference in my mobility and strength. My therapist, Lisa is awesome!!! She is patient, attentive, and has the best sense of humor. I have been through physical therapy many many times, and I've never looked forward to going until now. Joe, Katie and the other schedulers willingly take the time to make my appointments around a crazy work schedule, which is not easy. They seamlessly change and reschedule when necessary without making me feel like I have imposed. My incredible PT, Dean, has helped me through some excruciatingly painful sessions. His positivity, patience and determination using water and land strategies to help me, both physically and mentally, has never wavered. After making the difficult decision to have back surgery Dean is once again helping me with strengthening, stretching and cycling exercises. I just completed a course of physical therapy for a shoulder problem. I attended the Strive location in Marlton. My therapist was Pete Coulter. He is excellent. He is warm and personable and takes the time to get to know you and understand your needs. He then devises a program that is right for you. However, over the course of my therapy I had a chance to work with the other therapists at this location, including Mallory, Colleen, Matt and Carole. They are all outstanding as well. They clearly enjoy their jobs and working together which makes Strive a warm and inviting place in which to get therapy. A shout out to the receptionists Shawn and Jen as well. When I completed my therapy and reached my discharge date, Pete made sure to let me know that I am welcome to call or email if I have any questions or further needs. I had an awful case of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo as diagnosed over the phone by my physician. I was able to set up a virtual appointment at Strive with Jared Burch as my doctor/vestibular therapist because I was in no condition to leave the house. I'd never had a virtual doctor's appointment let alone a therapy session. Being of a certain age along with feeling absolutely horrible, Jared made me feel as though he was right beside me, keeping me calm & as relaxed as possible under the circumstances; he was understanding & supportive. He responded promptly & with compassion when I emailed the following day complaining of still feeling miserable. Once able to handle a car ride, I saw him in-person where he was just as professional with the right amount of care, kindness & humor. I HIGHLY recommend seeing Nick DellaVecchia at Strive Physical Therapy in Mount Laurel. I've seen quite a few physical therapists over the years, and Nick is by far the best PT I've had. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable (something you definitely want in a physical therapist), he's also patient, kind, encouraging, and personable. I was a patient of his for about 5 months, and every single time I came into PT Nick was there to greet me with a smile, his infectious positive attitude, and new exercises to target my areas of weakness meanwhile keeping me engaged. I highly recommend Strive Physical Therapy. I called on the recommendation of my nieces who haVW used then fir years. I thought I had a disc problem in my lower back. For 24 hours I was in such pain I could not find a comfortable position to sit, stand or lay down. I considered going to the ER. This is when my family said, "Call Dr. Rob at Strive". I called the next morning. The schedulers got me in that afternoon. Dr. Rob stayed late just to see me. I could barely walk when I arrived. He did an evaluation and determined it was not a disc but a mis le in spasm that was "strangling" my sciatic nerve. I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't had success at other PT places give Strive a try. This was the second PT place I went to in a year and in 3 months I was back to being a college athlete. My physical therapist adjusted my therapy every time I adjusted my goals. Strive Physical Therapy at the Robbinsville, NJ location truly exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have been a high level basketball player since I was a kid so coming into PT for a pulled hamstring, I wasn't expecting to be pushed, and actually have difficulty with a few of the new stretches/exercises that Natalie has taught me that I include in my daily routine. When I went to Strive for my first visit, I was afraid there was a possibility that the only solution would require surgery however after a few weeks of training with Natalie, my legs feel stronger than they have in a long time and I am back to doing what I love to do. Unfortunately, this is the second time in about 10 years that I required physical therapy. Fortunately. Strive was around them and now. It has been my pleasure to work with almost every therapist, one time or another. Every experience was beneficial. The therapists are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I had to take the time to say how impressed I am with Strive PT in Burlington NJ. From the minute I walked in and was greeted by Carolyn with that great smile until my last visit. When I first arrived one doctor had me going for surgery for immobility in my right arm. After two months with Pablo Vargas my mobility has increased greatly. I am back to almost normal. The staff is very professional and super courteous. They make you feel at ease at all times. I can now perform all normal functions without the surgery. Chrissy, who handles scheduling and billing, is extremely organized. She has made my experience very convenient and seamless. Most importantly, the Physical Therapy treatment I have received has been outstanding. I am a physical therapist as well, and I was really truly impressed with Dresher PT as a whole. I have a chronic problem over my low back, and have been going to many physical therapy places over the years. This is the best so far. I appreciate the people working there, the very friendly and respectful atmosphere and even good music in the background is putting smile on my face. But most of all I am feeling better.
