There are lots of gas pumps and the parking lot is extremely large, easy in and out. My wife says the bathroom are clean and for continuing to stop at a convenience store that is a must. It also helps to have Dr Pepper zero, sadly, it is not here. My second choice is Coke zero and that is here.

From what I could see this is the only gas station along 2147 that I could find between Highway 281 and the Horseshoe Bay resort (there is a Valero and a 7-11 just past the resort). The station appears to be a very popular spot for the locals. And within it's 20 x 30' walls are crammed full of all those convenience store necessities. They have plenty of ice to sell, although I did not see any propane tanks for rent. What got my attention was the fact that they had an enormous wine selection from the cheapest sutter home to some around $20. They have plenty of cold beer, but not much craft beer. They also sell locally made breakfast tacos for $2 and $5 each which were quite good. And of course the checkout is surrounded by lottery tickets and smoking accessories. It was definitely worth the stop.

It's a clean 7-Eleven, inside and out. The inside has your typical selections of snacks and drinks and maybe a little larger than a typical 7-Eleven. I did try a hotdog once and the buns are cold and fall apart. Also had a slice of pizza and I would never do that again. Just stick to the pre-packed food/snacks if you have to get something. My biggest complaint though is the gas pumps and no receipts. This is a ploy many stations use to force you to come into the store and thereby, more than likely get you to buy something. There is NO reason for the gas pumps to be out of paper and/or not dispense receipts right at the pump. But again, if you want a receipt, they force you to go inside, wasting time and of course, in hopes you will purchase something else. There is another gas station within 2 minutes of this 7-Eleven right on 281. They have the same prices but you will get a receipt at the pump. If you aren't someone who needs a receipt, this is certainly a convenient place to stop off. But, if you have to keep receipts, as many do these days, for now, I would avoid. Hopefully in the future they will keep the paper stocked and stop forcing customers into the store.

I was told by some locals that they have some of the best coffee you'll find in town. They do have some wine on the shelves and some of it is a little upscale and a decent beer selection. There's also plenty of ice, propane and firewood if you need it. This is definitely a good location to gas up and grab a freshly made breakfast taco or something else hot on their menu.

CEFCO - Liberty Hill - Hwy 29…read more Do not stop here if you need mid-grade gasoline or customer service! I had noticed some problems with slow gas pumps before but never thought much of it except annoyance. Tonight, I went again to buy gas and noticed the pump was running slowly. I went in, went to the bathroom, made a withdrawal at the ATM and a purchase at the counter. I asked the "assistant store manager" what the problem with the tank was. He asked if I was buying midgrade gas, and I told him yes. He then said it would always be that slow, because the pump draws from the regular and premium tank and blends it to make midgrade. Well, most gas stations do it that way, so I went back out. Almost ten minutes had passed at that point and the pump had dispensed only 1.961 gallons of gas. Ridiculous. I went back in and told the assistant manager that and he just shrugged. I asked him to give me the contact information for his area manager because he needed to know how bad the pump was functioning. The "assistant store manager" informed me that he would not do that, and I would have to get that from the store manager. I asked him to call the store manager and get permission. He refused to do that also and said I need to come back tomorrow and ask. At that point I advised him that I would not do that; that I was here now requesting the information; and that if that was his attitude toward customer service, I would not be returning. He did not even ask for my contact information to pass on to his store manager or the area manager. I then had to drive to the nearby Shell station where their blend pump dispensed 11 gallons in just over 2 minutes. If you buy midgrade gas AVOID CEFCO. They have a mechanical problem with their pump and they don't care. One would wonder if the pump is that inefficient, if it can even be trusted to blend the gasoline properly.
