The bathrooms were overall very clean (just some rude customers who can't follow signs). Nothing smelled bad and the counters where food and drink were so clean and well stocked. Food offerings were in date and fresh appearance. Rollers were clean and stocked. Thank You! Corporate - give this team a huge shoutout they deserve it!

Just happened to be passing by coming from the hotel we stayed at on the way to I-20 West…read more Saw some work trucks (about 5am) out front and basically stopped for coffee...I was overwhelmingly and pleasantly surprised at the large variety of breakfast burritos (home made) that they had ...I went with the Chorizo and Egg and habe to say it was awesome... The people, staff and customers were friendly and helpful and if I was anywhere near there, it would definitely be my daily morning stop for coffee and a breakfast burrito on the way to work...would have loved to see what they offer for lunch but was headed back to Southern California on a time crunch . If you're close in Pecos, TX....stop in there, you won't be disappointed...

Okay for gas - but find anywhere else but here to eat…read more.. My family pulled into this Flying J for gas and thought the attached Denny's would be a good place to eat, as well. We were seated at a table and then dutifully ignored for almost 30 minutes. 2 Waitresses even started arguing with each other (within earshot) about who had to take our table - I guess our family of 4 looked like a demanding bunch compared to all of the truckers around... Finally we got a waitress to bring drinks and take our order. Then nothing. It was like we were invisible. After another 25 minutes of being intentionally ignored, I got up and talked to the manager. She had the gall to blame us for not being patient enough and insisted that I pay for the meals EVEN THOUGH THEY STILL HADN'T BEEN PUT ON THE GRILL!!!! After an unpleasant "discussion," we refused to pay, got some rotten-tasting pre-wrapped turkey sandwiches and undercooked pizza from the gas station, and hit the road. The management of this Denny's takes no responsibility and has no idea how to treat customers. Oh, and the bathrooms were some of the worst I'd ever seen. You have been warned...

Pulled over for a late lunch at the Denny's next door, expecting it to be a quality establishment…read more Unfortunately, the wait staff here are SO disorganized! SERVICE: Unprofessional and disorganized. Didn't see our waitress again after she had to be called over to take our order, and there seemed to be only one, on-top-of-it waiter who was rushing around trying to take care of everyone. The other waiters appeared to be goofing off in the back of the restaurant; or, we caught the wait staff in between shift changes or something, because even the people trying to pay their bills at the front were grumbling about the wait. ATMOSPHERE, FOOD: typical Denny's fare, but the waitstaff forgot several parts of our order (side salad, tortillas that came with my dad's meal) and had to be reminded. OVERALL: The service irreparably diminished any positives from the Denny's brand.
