You can't really drive through to get a michelada with beer inside... but you can drive through to get a Clamato Preparado with a beer ON the side. So I bought one of those suckers ($8?) and was about to drive off when something caught my eye. Smirnoff Preparada. What the heck? Turns out an SP is a 20 oz smirnoff icce, with gummy bears, chamoy and chile inside the beverage. Then on TOP of the beverage, more gummy bears, chamoy and chile. Obviously I had to get one. It tasted like sh... nothing good but the gummy bear chamoy concoction on top was delicious. All of these things are an acquired taste of course so feel free to experience this madness on your own.

I have friends who when they come to the island end up eating Stripes tacos at least once a day. I've done the half chicken plate and the sausages before as well. They have fuel for both cars and 18 wheelers. I was hungry, so I ordered two tacos for $8 and some change. They were pretty good. They also have fried chicken, fried "burritos", chimichangas, hamburgers, pizza and more. The soda fountain includes several flavors of "aguas frescas" but are artificially flavored, the iced tea is fresh brewed. Bathrooms are clean and nice. The fuel prices are about 20 cents higher than in town. At least today. Overall, it's a nice place to stop for good food choices and road trip supplies.
