House-made Pork Belly Slider on toasted bun and street corn.
    JD S.

Another hidden JC gem. Dynamic family-oriented venue; new, clean and brightly lit. Think combination arcade, video and game stop, pool hall, bowling alley, great food with a super menu, friendly neighborhood bar, big screen TVs, good music. Staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. Pleasantly surprised to have in-house made decent pork belly sliders (at a bowling alley!) and a decent smash burger.

Stopped by for lunch today on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! Yes it's a bowling alley, but the food here is better than a lot of restaurants I've visited. Definitely worth a stop. I had the pulled pork nachos and my husband had a burger and fries. The nachos were very tasty and they did not skimp on the amount of pork! My only criticism is that they needed more cheese (they're nachos, after all...I like 'em smothered) but the flavors were great. My husband enjoyed his burger and the fries were crispy and seasoned. Our service was wonderful, too. Fast and friendly and very welcoming. We didn't stay for entertainment this time, but wow what a difference since the remodel! It's SO nice now! The bar area is beautiful and there's a ton of room for seating both around the dining areas and the bar itself. There were about 12 bowling lanes and lots of arcade games, too. Looks like a great spot for a date day/night and fun for kids too. Can't wait to come back for fun!

The screen that is on the right is where we was and staff that issues we had with are not there at the time this photo was taken.

Sk8 Zone - Nice clean sealed floor; staff helped keep the traffic flowing and we're very attentive to skater safety.

The clean sealed wood floor is nice and I was happy to play some familiar games and relive some memories; I even won a free soda playing the number elimination game! The arcade games looked fun but we'll check them out next time as were too busy skating. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the skate renting process. They also carry skates and have catalog available for those looking!!

This rink is really nice. Has a big open feeling as there are no walls. You can enter or exit the skate floor from anywhere. That's a big plus for public skating! (No good for hockey). We got two pretzels and cheese. A hot dog. Two Gatorade's and a Mountain Dew fountain, oh and cheese fries. It was priced great. Think $12.50 for it all. I love when places would rather sell quantity at a fair price than price gouging the ones willing to pay. It's great for them with increased sales. And great for the patron with lower prices. We went on a Friday night. No hats were allowed. Kinda weird. Maybe there's gang issues round here? Put my favorite STL Blues hat back in my truck. No biggie. That seems only on Friday making it more interesting. But I'm sure there's a reason. The employees were all really nice at the snack bar. Then we also went to the place they sell skate stuff at. They are raising money for there speed team. My son got some cool tattoos for a dollar each. The girl that helped us was super polite. My son and I have our own skates. My wife got rentals and said, "They were fine." The dining area had ample seating and wasn't crowded even though it was Friday night. They had lockers for 50¢ but we just threw our shoes in some free cubbies. They had an air hockey table. A foosball table and a couple pool tables. Think they were all quarter operated. A kid told me air hockey was 75¢. They also had lots of benches to put on skates. Or for skaters to rest. Parents to watch. Etc. they had many rooms to have birthday parties in as well. There were a few games with prizes during the session too. Like the lucky wall game. And speed skating. We really enjoyed the place and will be back if we are in the area. If we were local we would be regulars for sure. Only downside is no roller hockey. That's a small percentage of the population though. For a place to skate this place is great! (Had to drop a couple stars. Went Friday. It was great. Tried to go back Sunday and it was closed. A sign on the door saying closed Saturday and Sunday. No warning posted a day prior that we seen. Also said it was open during those hours online. A Saturday the 11th of June 2021 would be closed online. Making it more misleading. You expect a place to be open when they say they will. Not waste your time and plans. I read a review that said the only way to know if they are open is to call the day of and listen to the voicemail. I'd recommend that before driving here. We will be back if they are open when we are around again lol. I'll definitely call first and have other plans in case.)

You can grab tickets online or in person, and they have a really cute gift shop with fun little trinkets worth browsing before or after your tour. Our tour guide Lee was so amazing! He's been there for years and years and you can just tell. Great stories, super personable, the kind of guide that makes the whole experience way more memorable. We even spotted a bat hibernating which was such a cool unexpected moment! The cave itself is fascinating and I loved that it was great for all ages. Our group ranged from little kids to people in their 70s and everyone was into it with no problems. A few spots can get slightly slippery so just watch your step, but there are handrails throughout so nothing felt unsafe. Also found out they host events here too like a black light event and even concerts inside the cave which sounds incredibly cool. Definitely want to come back for one of those. Overall I was really impressed and would highly recommend adding this to your Missouri road trip list.

That's pretty rare with cave tours. This was the only cave tour we did during our week-long family summer vacation in Missouri and we enjoyed it. Our guide, Maddie, was wonderful and very enthusiastic. The tour was an hour and we had a smaller group who were wonderful and I enjoyed learning about the cave, the history of the cave, and walking all around. It was fun and well done. If you are nearby, this is something I think you should do. They have plenty of parking, nice grounds, a penny press souvenir machine, a nice gift shop and are great with kids with some other interactive things to do before or after the tour.

It is easy to have a great time there, you can bowl and then continue your visit with games that you can play alone and with friends. A good thing about the bowling lanes is that the bumpers can go up and down for each bowler. Any younger children can use the bumpers and they can go right back down for anyone who doesn't need them, and without hassle too! A downside to bowling is that it is hard to find the lighter bowling balls, I could find plenty of balls over 12 pounds, but almost nothing under that. I found them eventually but it was not easy. SERVICE- All employees I encountered were very kind and friendly. I had no problem whatsoever with any of the service. OVERALL- Overall, I would definitely recommend the Fulton Bowling Center if you want to have a fun night! There are lots of food and drinks available, bowling, and many fun games. It is everything you would want in a good hangout spot! The facility seems a bit run down, but it is very clean. Happy Bowling xoxo.
