After completing the "free" first time workout studio manager Dennice offered me a discounted rate for healthcare professionals -- the low rate was the deciding factor in joining that day. Four days later, I was told the rate "didn't exist" and would not be honored. After escalating to the regional manager Andre, I was promised a $50 credit on my first month as a resolution.The credit was never applied. I've reached out to Dennice to correct the charge, and it remains unresolved. Being promised one rate, then charged another, and not receiving an agreed-upon adjustment is unacceptable. At this point I cannot recommend this studio.

They make it impossible to cancel. Denise is just a horrible person with bad customer service! This is what she did: I notified that I wanted to cancel exactly 30 days in advance verbally! I spoke to her she said that I needed to come to sign paperwork in order to cancel my membership. I told her I could not go in that day because I was working. I told her I would go in a few days later to sign that paperwork. I go in several days later to "sign paperwork" for her to txt me the cancellation form that I had to do online anyway!!! Why couldn't she just send me that txt when we first spoke instead of having me go in there. Please make it make sense! All I had to do was fill out a cancellation request via txt!!??? Then she proceeds to tell me that since I didn't give that cancellation notice 30 days my membership wouldn't end until two months! I was so mad but I let it go! I then had a doctors appt where I had an X-ray done that showed I had a tear on my knee. I then told Denise hey I can't come in anymore so I really need to cancel that membership earlier since I have a tear and cannot work out. she then proceeds to tell me that I need a doctors note in order to cancel earlier. Got that doctors note and she tells me I need to go in person to give her that note which I did. Mind you, I work so it's really hard for me to be going in at that time. She then proceeds to tell me that she cannot accept that letter from the Dr because it does not have a length of time. So I ask her if that's all I need, a length of time she says yes. I then called back and spoke to Andre because something just didn't sit right with me. Please note Andre was very nice. I explain everything and He proceeds to explain that he will do this exception and cancel my membership earlier. And he explains to me that my doctors note was missing a signature from the doctor as well as their cancellation policies. So why did Denise not tell me that from the very beginning!? Was she going to tell me after I turned that second letter? Oh and she also tells me there is an agreement that I signed that is for 12 months! So careful people when signing up because if something happens with your health you cannot cancel if you are within that 12 month contract and you could only pause your membership unless your injury lasts more than your 12 month contract then you need a doctors note. That is what they failed to let me know when I fist signed up. Shady business practices! Please know what you are signing for and that was my mistake.

There are also no shower facilities, so even scheduling an early class before work wouldn't work. Ideally, this isn't the Pilates set up for me. The staff was nice, and the studio was nice. If there were more options for classes, and a more negotiable payment plan (rollover classes) I'd consider joining.

As for Clovey P.'s previous posting referencing Lighthouse Fitness and the trainer she was assigned to, she had ever opportunity to address the issues she had regarding her trainer in the times that she was under contract. To choose this time, seemingly years after the fact, to address this in a public format to slander someone that she contracted to train her is not only bad but shows the lack of personal discretion and class. She violated the Yelp! Policies of conduct by mentioning an individual by their full name, in essence doxing him, and is doing everything she can to try to affect his livelihood. The trainer mentioned has been my personal trainer for several years, prior to the pandemic beginning, and has done everything he can to work with everyone that is assigned to him and has worked with my personal schedule on several occasions because...life. nothing that she mentioned is believable since it is behavior that I have never seen him exhibit during my time training with him when there are MANY people in the gym wearing form fitting workout apparel. Her stated personal appearance issues could have easily been addressed with the trainer ot management at the time that she was under contract since these are issues that should be addressed at the lowest and most direct level possible. She could have easily requested an alternate trainer much like anyone could request an alternate medical professional should they feel uncomfortable. This person should be flagged for their inappropriate posting and if they still have a contract with the gym, then it should be terminated post-haste to prevent further detrimental attacks of character to other workers. She needs to grow up and learn that she should adjust to the world, use her voice, and stop hiding behind a keyboard. I give 10Gym a 5 star rating, Lighthouse Fitness a 5 star rating, and the trainer mentioned specifically a 5 star rating (especially considering his professionalism and tact when dealing with pampered individuals such as Clovey P.

My experience at this Planet Fitness today was completely unacceptable. I asked a staff member named Trey to turn on one of the stations. He told me he had to do it, not customers. Moments later, I watched another customer walk in and turn on the exact same type of machine themselves with no issue. That means I was either lied to or treated differently for no valid reason. When I pointed out which machine I was referring to, Trey responded by saying he didn't have to answer my question and then told me I "don't have to be here" to receive services even though I'm a paying member. I then requested to speak with another staff member, and he refused, claiming he was the manager and I had no one else to speak to. This level of disrespect, inconsistency, and unprofessional conduct is not something I've ever experienced in a gym environment. No paying member should be talked down to, dismissed, or given false information. This situation needs to be addressed so other members don't go through the same thing.

I registered for the class a few days before on their website and the website said that my registration was successful. But not only did the website give the wrong location so that I was late for the class, but when I got there the staff were very fake and the older blonde woman behind the counter told me that I was not registered and then further embarrassed me in front of the staff, my friend, and all the prefect princesses walking in asking me "do you have a camera on your phone, "sweetie"" when asking me to scan a QR code for the class in a VERY condescending tone and she didn't look me in the eye. Of course I have a camera on my brand new iPhone. Who even asks that??? Needless to say I decided right then that I would not be going back ever again. I was so upset and downtrodden and embarrassed I just told my friend that I was going to leave because I didn't want to be treated like a poor, dumb, undesirable and embarrassed and singled out even more. It was obvious that they thought I DIDN'T belong there as soon as I walked in. I don't want to be that girl but in this case I would, unfortunately, advise anyone who is NOT WHITE or dressed entirely in Lulu Lemon to stay away from this place if you don't want to be talked down to and shoved out the door. They helped me to realize the importance of mind body connection and moving your body because it feels good rather than always exercise tied to a scale goal.
