Camp Gladiator is the best! It is an outdoor, group workout with multiple times and locations…read morethroughout the week. Each week has a different focus (i.e. endurance, agility, etc.) and all you need is a mat, water and weights on weight days (Mon, Thurs, Sat). Each individual can push themselves as hard or light as they want and the trainers are very knowledgeable to help with modifications, accountability, and constant changing of daily exercises. I think the workouts are a ton of fun. You earn points for every workout you attend and every person you refer, which allows you to buy cool gear from the CG store with those points. All camps are rain or shine and a great place to meet people and get fit. I am someone who gets bored with my workouts at the gym, and CG really pushes me and makes me feel great! I am always exhausted and sore after the workouts, so I know they work! As a perk- once you are enrolled, you are able to attend as many camps as you want and in any location. There is no fee to try a different city or trainer, which makes it nice if you are out of town. I can't wait until they grow to even more cities!

I am in love with Club Pilates. I moved from out of state, from a different location. I tried other…read morebusinesses but CP truly has the most options for levels and scheduling. The people from instructors, front desk and members are so welcoming and I have bad social anxiety but it's pushing me out of my bubble. I have encouragement in every corner and even students, if they're more seasoned and see me struggling will help, along with the instructors. I never feel dumb or ugly. The only con is scheduling. This location is so popular it's booked sometimes two weeks out. The waitlist sometimes works but you have to know your schedule, be patient and committed. It took me a month for my body and their bookings to align to where I can go 3x a week. Also I wish they had more relaxing classes like Center & Balance. But due to demand they have it every other week for level 1. I truly feel they need to open up another location in the Avery Park area of NB. I'd definitely utilize it. This location is a 20-30 min drive for me depending on traffic. For me it's worth it. I have a bad back from being in the military and a few autoimmune issues. And even though it's hard sometimes to get that motivation to do the drive once I get in there and finish I feel revived and my pain is so much better.

While a few instructors (Michelle, Stevie, and Terry) are fantastic and bring professionalism and…read morewarmth to the studio, the overall experience is overshadowed by glaring issues. One instructor is downright rude--her aggressive corrections border on inappropriate, and her dismissive attitude is unacceptable. Laughing and making snide comments like 'I'm not for everyone' after upsetting clients isn't quirky; it's unprofessional and alienating. Add to that the exorbitant price of $200 for unlimited classes, which feels unjustifiable given the uneven quality of instruction and lack of accountability. For this price, I expect consistency, respect, and a welcoming environment across the board. This studio falls far short.

I came to Planet Fitness to work out and mind my own business, but instead I felt constantly…read moremonitored and judged. I also noticed that many of the younger employees spend most of their time on their phones and fail to provide customers with proper attention or service. Professionalism and customer service seem to be completely absent. Instead of interacting with members, employees appear more interested in chatting among themselves, sitting at the computer, and socializing. Thank you, Alfred Anthony Dessert III. Perhaps management, including Lisa Garcia, should have a serious discussion about customer service standards--or perhaps these concerns will simply be brushed aside as usual. Employees are here to work, not to judge members based on how they present themselves. Every member deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of appearance. Planet Fitness advertises itself as a "Judgment Free Zone," but my experience felt more like a "Judgment Zone." Management should seriously review its training practices and standards. HR should conduct a thorough investigation into employee professionalism, customer service, and how members are treated. Leadership should focus less on socializing and more on creating an environment where members feel welcomed and respected. Shame on you, Planet Fitness. Members deserve empathy, professionalism, and a truly judgment-free atmosphere--not to feel watched, judged, or dismissed while trying to improve their health.

In years past I have had memberships at all of the other tanning salons in New Braunfels and some in the Schertz/San Antonio area and none of them come close to what Kool Tan has to offer. Let me tell you the difference. 1. Everything here is super clean and sanitized. 2. I have NEVER had to wait for a booth to open up. I dont have a lot of time on my hands because I work A LOT and have a long commute home so I love that I can get in and out in 15 minutes. 3. There is no pressure to sign a contract (This was most important to me because I HATE being pressured into signing membership agreements) 4. The people here are very friendly and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk thru the door. They have other services such as spray tans, infrared sauna & hydromassage which I havent had a chance to try yet but I will!

The owners are amazing, they know everyone by name, their place is super clean and there is never a hassle to sign a contract like other places I've been. They also have more than just tanning there too. They have this incredible hydrotherapy water jet massage that I love using after a stressful day at work. I had never had a massage with water and stayed dry; it was really an experience and felt great! I've also tried the infrared dry sauna that I heard about from Dr. Oz, it's true you do sweat a lot! You have to try it for yourself. The spray tan was very different than any other place I've been too. It didn't stink, or have a spray tan smell. I also didn't have that spray tan look, I looked very natural which I was very pleased with. After doing the spray tan thing for awhile I decided to go back to the tanning beds. In an 8 minute stand up I have what is equivalent to lying down in a 20 min bed. And I didn't have to think about who was lying there before me or how clean the beds are. Did I mention it only took 8 minutes of my time to get a hot tan! I love, love, love this place !!
