She stepped up with strong leadership, effectively acting in a regional manager capacity to ensure all areas were clear and safe. She made sure personnel exited the building properly and moved to a safe location. After the all-clear was given, which she personally helped confirm, Victoria reassured members that everything was safe and took the time to personally check on everyone. It's the least we can do. The Arena Fitness team truly, truly, truly, cares about you, more than they care about the business, and whether you'll become a paying member. At 27, I'm not trying to be a bodybuilder, but I do want to stay in shape, keep my energy up, and not feel like my body's falling apart from sitting at a desk all day--and this place makes that easy. First thing I noticed was the atmosphere. It's got a solid mix of people--some serious lifters, some beginners, and a lot of people just trying to stay consistent. Same with the rest of the gym. It's clear they at least try to keep things maintained. If I had one complaint, it's that it can get a little crowded in the evenings, but that's pretty much any decent gym. If you can go earlier or later, it's way better. Overall, it's a solid spot. Being a physical therapist I've always struggled with the structure of the classes, how stations were timed and back to back without rest focusing on the same muscle group, which doesn't allow for optimal muscle performance and loss of proper form, but my competitive nature hated to not commit to the challenge. Here, the workouts are balanced and paced, so you can rest when you need to and not rush, so your form is maintained and less risk of injury.
