The gym is spotless, looks great, the locker rooms are clean, there's a basketball court, smoothie bar, the price point is fantastic, parking is ample, and Lisa and Danielle are both incredibly nice. Each class is different each week so it's never boring, and every instructor seems intent on trying to help you achieve your goals. My only issue is that classes aren't sixty minutes, but instead forty-five. Otherwise, I wish I joined earlier, the place is amazing. Will miss it when I leave.

The Fort was an eye opener. Focused on group fitness, I've attended the yoga, TRX, bootcamp, and kickboxing classes. Every session is different, which keeps it from getting boring. Plus, the routines can be easily tailored to any experience level or ability. There is no sense of competition here. The entire vibe within the facility is extremely positive, and it shows through the passion of Lisa & Danielle as they lead the classes. It's great to see everyone supporting one another in this healthy environment. If you're an experienced fitness guru or a new to working out, The Fort will push you to new levels, leave you feeling great, and telling all your friends (while making new ones).

I signed up for a 3 month membership, not that they gave me a contract. The manager Clarissa just…read moretook my credit card and entered it into their system, no problem. That should have been my first warning. After fulfilling my 3rd payment, I found out that I need to have surgery and won't be able to attend anymore classes during recovery. And after I recover, I'll be moving out of state to care for my dad. So I submitted a cancellation request. I tried to do it through the app as it suggested but it just told me to call or visit the studio. When I called, no one answered and I thought, I'll be there in 2 days so I'll let them know then. When I got there, the girl told me she was 'just the weekend help' and couldn't cancel my policy and I would need to email the manager Clarissa. Okay, no big deal. So I did. But apparently by the time I got in touch with her I was a few days past the "30 day policy". Now, I've already payment for the 3 month program I agreed to, so why should I need to cancel anything to begin with. To me, this was just a curtesy so they wouldn't auto charge me for another month. But Clarissa tells me that I've missed the cut off time so I'll be charged another $300 for 8 classes that I won't even be able to use and says perkily in the email that they look forward to seeing me after my recovery. Which tells me 2 things. She didn't pay any attention to what I actually said in the email and she simply doesn't care. So I call, express my disappointment and she offers to escalate my concerns, which I agree to. Then, I get an email from Hannah, the Regional Manager telling me that despite my surgery and moving out of state, they have to be consistent with their policy for all members and (again) that I'll have access to the club through the end of August and they hope to see me there. Now someone make it make sense. I've told them I won't be medically capable or logistically capable of attending classes but they still tell me they hope to see me there? This company, admittedly, may have great instructors and great classes but they have no care for their members except for the money their members are bringing in. This is a company that I would rather cut of my nose to spite my face than ever deal with again. Most companies have medical policies or relocation policies in place for members that are dealing with real life situations, but not Club Pilates. Admittedly, I should have asked for the contract before signing up, that is most definitely my fault. With that being said, their predatory practices of signing you up without offering a contract and making it oh so easy to become a member without having to sign on the dotted line are disgusting. I will NEVER sign up with this company again. Lesson learned.

The trainers create purposeful 30 min training plans for the group, switching things up daily to make it interesting and challenging. They are flexible with accommodations (shoulder for me). I've tried 3 of the specialty classes - motivating and fun! Yoga practice is exceptional - the sessions are excellent and thoughtful - my flexibility is up and my stress level is down. Nutrition program is relatively new and I haven't taken full advantage, but you can use as much or as little as you want; I take recipe ideas and short term challenges that help motivate me. I've recently become a fan of green drinks, which I would never have done on my own! Useful info on healthy lifestyle, graceful aging and life balance. My boundaries are respected, and the team is truly interested in us as individuals and in a whole person approach to wellness. Supportive and positive energy!

Terri and her team are amazing and they are always providing one on one attention and asking questions to learn about your individual needs. The 30 minute training sessions are always fun and never the same. I was one to get bored with a gym routine. The Focused Female provides many different classes with one on one training, so I am never bored with the same routine. The "Box" is more the size of a football field than any Box I have seen before (save for CF OBX, which is massive too). Chase (owner?) was very responsive to my e-mails about coming in and treated me just like the regulars when it came to giving pointers and motivating me to push myself. They have pretty much every piece of equipment you could ask for. I look forward to going back again!

The staff in front is generally less than helpful, warm or welcoming and no paper towels to dry your hands in the bathroom? What's that about? And a 5 minute limit on showering? That's not enough time to wash your hair. It's hot in there all the time. Absolutely dreadful in the summer and the lighting over the treadmills is ridiculously dark. Good luck trying to read anything that's not back lit. And the music? I've heard/seen multiple complaints about it. This is supposed to be a fitness club not a 70's Rock revival. The only reason I continue going to this place is convenience. They really need to implement changes to help their patrons enjoy their visit. Not dread it.
