My first stretch was awesome! She found every spot that needed fixing. I definitely recommend this place for the ultimate stretch.

This class is not as structured and not as traditional, but it is a good shift. It's not so far from the traditional 26 and two that you get lost, but it does have some sections where you can do alternative poses or add vinyasas if you prefer. I really really liked the teacher who was also the owner. She has a really good energy and was really helpful and kind to me when I got there and talked me through how the class would go since it was not what I'm used to. I look forward to being able to go again while I'm in town for work. I would also like to try some other classes at the studio because it's really nice and opened an airy and I think it's got a really great vibe.

The instructors are super sweet and friendly. There is a diverse offering of classes that will make yogis and yoginis of all skill levels feel at home. The teachers are great at offering modifications and classes are intended to be individualized and for oneself rather than an athletic competition (though you're bound to feel the burn!) I especially love Yin yoga, which is half meditation, half holding long deep poses. It takes a lot of determination and focus, and works wonders on my anxiety. I also love regular flows and hot classes. One great thing about this studio is that you can book online via a seamless foolproof system.

While I am not used to Group Fitness activities or working out with a trainer present, Orange…read moreTheory Fitness was a fun experience. I came as support for my friends who were planning on joining after the free day. It was pretty easy to sign up by calling their office, checking what classes had opening spots and picking the time. We showed up, did a quick survey asking about what we were wanting to improve with ourselves and then we were fitted with the heart monitor. Once it was time for the actual class to start the hoard of skinny beautiful sorority looking type girls came in for the workout. Of course there were a few men as well, but you know the OT stereotype. Nonetheless everyone got to their own numbered machines to follow the workout. I was surprised how small the actual Fitness Center is. There are about 13 spots on each set of treadmills, rowing machines, weights and yoga mat areas. The classes hold approximately 26 people. The class is split to do one set of workouts and the other half does the other set first. So the class I did was Endurance based. I started off on the treadmill and rowing machines. About 25 minutes in we reach halftime and switch sides. So then I was in the group doing weights, crunches and stretches. It works out pretty well. The workouts are also in phases as well either telling you to run/row a certain length or for a specific length of time. It does not matter your speed though because you work at the difficulty best for yourself. It provides somewhat a competitive environment though because I want to reach Phase 2 before my friend who is still half a mile behind me. There was about 5 phases just on the running/rowing part of my workout and I only completed 3 before it was time to switch. The motto of Orange Theory is that you get stronger and improve. They never have the same workouts ever even though they use the same machines and tools in varying ways. Orange Theory is famous for their heart monitoring system. Based on your weight and goals there is a certain heart rate known as the Orange Zone where you burn the most fat. Red is kind of like you are overworking yourself and Green is a good easy sweat. The workouts are tracked and you earn Splat points though I am not sure what for. Overall I was drained from the intense cardio, especially since I overestimated myself and the rowing killed me. My trainer Moira was great, super friendly and supported us first timers. Though I ended up not joining because I feel it is overpriced and I am not necessarily looking to lose weight, it is definitely helpful and I recommend it for other people to try.

Sadly, this always caused an issue because he "looks different" than me, and people have questioned whether he was my trainer. He is not my trainer! He is someone who cares & wanted to push me & encourage me on my journey. We had to prove once before that he was my coworker by bringing in our work badges because they didn't believe me & canceled his account & band him from the gym. After explaining our situation & proving what we were doing, they reinstated his membership & all was well. Now, here we are again with a different regional manager, and a different club manager, questioning the same exact thing again. I tried to explain, but there was no listening. Now, due to the disrespect I've officially canceled my membership, and I will be letting my family and friends know to do the same. This gym could be so much better, but due to ignorance & assumptions, they lost a member. This kind of management behavior is unacceptable. So disappointed.

Did you know your personal training renews, even outside of your original agreement. It is called an "open contract," yep, read the fine print. I tried multiple times to cancel, was told you have to have a "permanent physical disability." What kind of health and fitness facility insists on this type of approach? The management tells you, very condescendingly to your face, it is the in the agreement you signed. They tell you, you aren't listening. They tell you blame other people. They also give you the minimal amount of information to keep you in the dark about what you agreed to, while telling you to read the agreement. Phillipe, general manager, and the owner of this facility should be ashamed of themselves. I would never recommend this facility to anyone, EVER! I am out almost $2000 for "not reading the agreement." Absurd and borderline unethical.

Driving to the studio, I started to feel butterflies in my gut because I wasn't sure I was going to catch onto the moves fast enough. But I wasn't going to let those butterflies get to me. I let my guard down and wanted to try something new!! Pulling into the parking lot, I liked how there was private parking in the front of the studio. I suggest backing into the parking spot because it would be easier to get out after class. (I personally didn't this time - but next time I will) Walking into the studio, the kick-ass vibe was immediately felt. I was greeted with a warm welcome, brief outline of what to expect, where stuff is and how everything runs. The atmosphere was pretty cool... blue neon lighting, flashing lights, music thumping and positive attitudes from everyone! The class was represented accurately. Simple dance moves with high energy cardio. Once you start forgetting about how the steps are done and get into the beats of the music, the dancing becomes second-hand movements. My motto was to have fun! And that is exactly what I did. I loved it! I recommend Drip Drop Fitness Studio because it is fun and something new! Bye Bye 2018, H-E-L-L-O 2019!
