I have been to 4 different Pilates studios in the last 3 years seeing no results as far as the pain is concerned. It just seemed like I couldn't find an instructor that knew what they were doing. The pain was actually getting worse in some circumstances. Then I heard about Carly from Carlys pure pilates. I've been seeing her for 3 months now and the pain is completely gone. It's a true blessing to have finally found an instructor that knows what she's doing. She is a true godsend and for the first time in 10 years I finally feel human again. The studio is fantastic as well. She has four reformers and a Cadillac. I didn't even know what a Cadillac was before coming to her Studio. Not one of the Pilates studios that I I had been to in the past had a Cadillac. It is a wonderful piece of equipment. I always leave the session feeling energized and ready to take on the world. They do sell water if you forget yours, and there is a small room with gym equipment. The calendar is often not out until the first day of the month, which is a bit of a hassle. A week ahead would be good. They don't put childcare on the internet calendar or the exact types of classes so do not go by that! It all says "dance mix" online and that is not the real schedule. I also would love for the staff to put up a "NO GUM" sign in the facility....there have been a few classes where someone is snapping/popping their gum and it throws off the rhythm and beat and several of us lose our count and mess up the routine. It makes for a frustrating environment. I don't understand how you can workout and chew gum anyway!
