A Hidden Gem in Rhode Island! I absolutely love this store!…read moreThe store is beautiful, and the service is exceptional. There is an incredible variety of gorgeous items to choose from. Kristina has a knack for helping me discover exactly what I didn't know I was looking for. Every time I wear something from her store--be it a bag, shoes, a coat, dress, or sunglasses--I receive so many compliments. This truly is my favorite place to shop in Rhode Island!

The one I bought and is featured here as a photo, has been worn and washed 3 or 4 times already and it's a winner. It's made to appear weathered, as you might expect from a seafaring location. No clue if their happy hour is or is not , as claimed, legendary. Wished I'd had the time to find out. It's worth the $28.95 price. Other stores will have cheaper ones if that's a budget issue. As others said, this is a must stop, if you want a local souvenir T-Shirt. No other shops really can match the variety and fun shirts featured here. And the staff was very accommodating, as I went through checking out and trying several shirts before deciding on size, image, and color. The shop is centrally located in this busy tourist area of the Thames Street wharf district. It's right near the Pepper Palace that I also have reviewed.

Their signature square knot style bracelets are a perfect blend of ocean, sailing, beach, local (yet diverse with the multiple location inspired lines), and fun. Each stylish piece of jewelry has a cool anchor-like hook in either gold or silver. I am in love with my new bracelets, but especially the Watch Hill (one of my favorite beach areas anyway) design, which looks like an open anchor bangle bracelet. The uniqueness of this piece is that it is light, versatile, casual, yet dressy, and stays open. I have never seen a design like this (most clasp or go all the way around), but this design has such a special flair to it. I am very impressed with this local company. The store itself is an experience! Walking along Thames, you are bound to encounter various shops featuring local and interesting products. But this store has a unique and fun story (just read their history/about section and anyone familiar with Newport summers will understand the Dark and Stormy reference!), paired with a beautifully designed and nautically inspired store itself. Their seating area and couches are so very welcoming and the employees are attentive and sociable. They also stand by their products 100%. I can't say enough wonderful things about Lemon & Line. A little tip: pair the Watch Hill bangle-like bracelet with any of the signature rope bracelets for a unique and beautiful look. They also have a beautiful and fun nautical bag. The straps are what make this bag so unique - keeping in theme with the rope bracelets. A warm summery day ahead beckons a visit to Lemon & Line on your next stroll in beautiful Newport. It also neighbors some tasty ice cream shops and restaurants - perfect location and products all around.
