It's been *8 years* since we had our home inspected by USA Home Inspections. They missed termites,…read moreblatant water intrusion & therefore mold and mildew issues on our house as well as some other key items. We had to do extensive unplanned rehab to the home (that we could have negotiated with the seller) I brought this to the companies attention immediately and multiple times. They first tried to pawn it off on the inspector that they gave us leaving the company. We found out he had left on his own terms (not fired) before our discovery. Your company still should have stepped up and yet we were ghosted. According to their contact, They legally were only on the hook for just the cost of the inspection and they didn't even have the decency to refund that. Sub-standard work and Zero integrity! If I could give them less than 1 star I would. *Why the review 8 years later* - Now that we are selling, the buyers inspector just found cloth wiring as well as some other expensive items that need to be addressed from the original home for insurance issues - nothing like ripping open an old wound open. Everyone makes mistakes at their job, but these were BIG ONES here. The fact that you all never made good in any way and stopped taking our calls is your largest mistake in my opinion. Unscrupulous. I find your great reviews here suspect.

So I was stoked to have USA Home Inspections recommended by my realtor. Mark got to work before I arrived (my realtor's assistant was there to let him in). But a few hours later, Mark was done with the inspection and came out from under the house to meet us. After the inspection he went through almost every thing to make sure I was comfortable with his work. Then he emailed me the full report and an invoice. Eventually I needed a second inspection after the seller did some work and I went right back to Mark. The cost was reasonable the second time around I just waited for the report. I realized the other day (someone else realized.) that the electrical board in my garage isn't grounded, but I Im not entirely sure if this was in the report. Something for me to check. Overall, I would us them again for sure, but hoping this house sticks!
