If you're hot for Stan, then just be like "Stan, rawr."
First-Hand Experience: My first visit to Stranraer - both the town and the stadium - was in late 2014. I had a wonderful ferry ride over from Northern Ireland and then came to the stadium and was thoroughly impressed. I did not see the team play there though. However, I have seen them play a few years back, away against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. It was a good game. It is probably colder down in Stranraer than it is all the way up there.
I respect this team a lot but I can't give them more than a 3 because I have seen them live but didn't have a real connection to them. When I see them play at their home stadium, that might increase.
This little town is way out in the middle of nowhere in the South West of Scotland, and it's awesome that they have a team. I've been here once, recently, and it was lovely. Their stadium only seats 6k people, and this team also won a Scottish Challenge Cup recently which was excellent.
They were formed back in 1870 and wear blue. They've won the second division but have never been anywhere near the dizzy heights of the Prem. They have a nice badge with a ship on it. Not much else to say. read more
