This gem of a vintage theater is always a reliable distraction whenever we visit Old Forge, it is clean, reasonably inexpensive, well stocked consessessions wise and simply stuffed to the gills with old movie memorabilia. Stop buy to catch the latest hit film, or even a live magic show. All while downing ice cold drinks, candy, or hot buttery popcorn

Great local theater. Lots of memorabilia of the old films and projectors. There are only a couple showings at one time but is perfect for the area. Tickets are $7 and food is way cheaper in relation to a large movie theater. If you go for a matinee showing, tickets are only $6. 1 things to note, they are a cash only business.

Absolutely beautiful theater! Very well kept vintage theater. Great prices and the projectors and sound have been upgraded. This might be my favorite movie theater anywhere. Staff was very friendly and encouraged us to look around and see everything and the other theaters. Cannot wait to see our next movie here. Just know, cash only! (Also, movie pass says it can be used here but it is cash only.)

Wonderful place to watch a movie. I would recommend this movie theatre to anyone. Owners are amazing people and extremely friendly.

The best owners and place to see a movie in the ADKs. Great prices on tickets and always have new movies. No one around can compete.

Like stepping into a time warp bringing you back to the 60's. We go to Old Forge every summer and always find time to go to a movie.

They were so active and playful, I could have watched them for hours. 2. Daily critter encounters - not sure what it's called exactly, but they have multiple opportunities throughout the day to hear a presentation and see an animal up close. On our visit we got to see the Kestrel. The presentation was quite interested. The small theater area is quite nice. 3. The Wild Walk is so nice and accessible! The interactive opportunities along the walk are great as well. 4. Lots and Lots of things to look at and explore inside and outside. Many trails. Tons of artifacts. The Troll exhibit was so cool. You really could spend an entire day here and still not do everything. 5. Lastly - THE GIFT SHOP. Seriously? I'm in love. So many wonderful, beautiful things. I had to keep myself from spending money this trip, but OH! Be still my nerdy nature-loving heart! Definitely make this a part of your next ADK adventure.

Ironically, the weather ended up being beautiful, so I spent a lot of time exploring the outdoor area instead and had an absolute blast. I went with one other adult and no children, and I can confidently say this is a place people of any age would enjoy. The exhibits are genuinely engaging and hands on without feeling childish. There were some incredibly unique features, including an outdoor treehouse style structure, bones and skulls you could actually hold and examine yourself, and even a small exhibit showing decomposing animals being broken down by beetles. That was something I had never seen in a museum before and found surprisingly fascinating. Overall, this was not a filler stop at all. It ended up being one of the highlights of the trip and was far more fun and interesting than I expected. Whether you have kids or not, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Me and my friends went to go see scary movie 6 and i was the only one that was 16 unable to get in,…read morethe worker was noticeably irritated and gave us totally unnecessary attitude for just wanting to see a movie. She was a older woman and I understand it is her job but at the same time the attitude or the bat of our first words to her were totally unacceptable and not customer friendly whatsoever. Anyways, we ended up getting refunds and the worker by the name of blue was incredibly nice. She wasn't upset or annoyed we had 4 tickets to refund or anything she was eager to cheer us up. She ended up giving all 4 of us free movie tickets that never expire and all of us free drinks. I'm not sure if staff that work the ticket stand are influenced to be stingy towards underage kids or noticeably defiant but the difference between the ways me and my friends were treated were totally different. This isn't for the attitude me and my friends were given trying to get in to the movie, it's for the simple acts of kindness shown to us by blue. Thank you blue for making all of us leave in a positive attitude.

It was a little confusing to find the entrance into the mall to go into the theater, but we eventually found it. Once inside, we went to the concession counter to get some food before the movie. We had not had lunch so my wife and I ordered a hot dog combo, a nacho combo, and a large popcorn. So all of the items we got were a hot dog (which seemed as if it were microwaved), a thing of nachos with a small cup of nacho cheese (with Jalapenos which were $1.50 extra), a large popcorn, 2 bags of candy, and 2 large fountain sodas. This came out to $58... which flabbergasted me. Upon walking into theater 9, the theater was smaller than I expected. The seats were also very disappointing. The seats were very low to the ground, and I felt cramped in the seat itself. I don't know if I am spoiled with the theater near us, but I expected a nice reclining seat. The theater was overall very clean, and once the movie was over, the staff were in to clean almost immediately.
