Now I come to find out they've suddenly gone off network but failed to notify me! Now I'm stuck with a bill that I have to pay due to poor communication on their part. I also got stuck with a late fee from a previous bill (that wasn't covered in network) and I never even received a bill for that in the first place. Never going there again. Absolutely disgusting and petty how they treat patients. I'm done. Be warned.

I require an antibiotic before any dental visit, even routine, due to heart issues. I had to have…read moreit at my appointment last year so it should be in my chart. My appointment for this year was scheduled at my appointment last year and I was given the option to come yearly, not every six months, since I don't have any dental issues. When I asked for my antibiotic for this year's appointment, I was told they couldn't "legally" call it in because I hadn't been seen by them in over a year. Yes, that's true but THEY made the appointment for over a year! I left a message asking what I needed to do to be able to get the antibiotic so I could have my yearly appointment and they never called me back. They should WANT their patients who require antibiotics to have them before their appointment and they shouldn't give us the runaround about getting it! Not only that, the girl I spoke with on the phone was rude, flippant, treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about, and clearly did not care anything about helping me do what was necessary to get the antibiotic that I needed. The girl I spoke with last year at Moore Family Dental was VERY nice; this was not the same one. Also, I'm not entirely sure that this one knew what she was talking about. So, I've made an appointment for my yearly cleaning with another dentist in town who called in my antibiotic the day I made the appointment. No runaround or issues whatsoever. They said that the dentist there was VERY careful about patients who needed pre-dental antibiotic and made sure they got them. Seems like all dentists would be that way but clearly not. Would not recommended Moore Family Dental and won't go there again. (Note that Dr. Moore himself seemed very nice and knowledgeable at my visit last year. I wonder if he even knows that patients are given the runaround about their antibiotics, etc. and that phone messages aren't returned.)
