We were convinced by the Decked Out people that a repair of our deck would not be enough and that we should just go ahead and remove it and put in a new deck. We accepted their recommendation. We paid them half up front and they said that they would start in 1-2 weeks. After 6 weeks and not hearing from them we started trying to contact them. We had over 5 broken promises as to when they would start and 3 months later they started what they said would be a 5 day process which took 3 weeks to complete. The deck is fine, but they promised a 30 year guarantee. We called them on that and they said that they would have it to us in a week. It has been 3 months and we have tried to contact them several times a week and they won't return messages and won't answer calls. At the recommendation of the Better Business Bureau we sent them a certified letter and still not response. We have found out that we overpaid by ten thousand dollars and their failure to respond to our requests for the guarantee they promised have left us disgusted. Would never recommend them. Jimmie B had a sign posted at corner of 40th & Pine Lake for sometime to do deck staining. We just…read morehad a new steel deck rail installed and wood support and fascia on our deck needed staining. Jimmie had a profession looking website. He came out and gave us a reasonable bid. When he started the job he did not have a paint brush and was using a sponge on a stick that he said he was in the process of getting a patent on. He tried to get my husband to invest several thousand dollars in his patent. It did no trimming while painting. all edges are still exposed and many missed spots, stain spilled everywhere as he did not tape or use drop cloth like we asked him too. Spilled large amount of stain on our brand new rail that we asked him to cover and which was not even anywhere near where the stain should have been. He would come for an hour or two and leave. Yesterday when he was about 85% he asked me to pay him and withhold $100 and he would come back later and finish. We offered to pay him what he asked per check and not to come back as we were getting a really bad vibe from him by this point. He insisted on cash or he said he would camp out in our back yard. It already appears that he has been camping out in his van. I think the B actually stands for BEWARE!!!. We went and bought more stain last night and will complete this job ourselves. His sign was no longer up on the corner last night. B actually stands for Bade
