I started seeing Jennifer Heffernan in February of this year and i've never experienced so many…read moremedication errors in my life consecutively. In fact the information listed in my patient portal was incorrect. At several points she refused to deal with my insurance company, which was unconscionable. My care was switched to another doctor and despite 14 years of a diagnosis and the same medications, I was suddenly treated like a criminal. Never asked to do a urine screen in February, I was suddenly subject to one of the most comprehensive urine screens i've ever seen. The results came back as expected; positive for the medication I was on, but negative or not detected for everything else. Marquita Wells is a doctor I saw in the interim before getting a new provider who was decidedly unfriendly and treated me like a criminal. Dr. Johnnie Byrd is my new provider who wasn't yet certified (to accept my insurance). Now Dr. Byrd is refusing to fill part of my medication. Now there appears to be some question as to my specific medication that was mysteriously not present when I came into the practice 6 months ago. All because I requested he send all of my medications to the pharmacy at the same time. I've followed all practice rules and guidelines, showed up for every appointment and followed all instructions. They have my medical history. Getting a hold of an administrator to report this is nearly impossible. There's nothing on the website and when i called in they simply re-routed me to a nurse voicemail. I'be suggested a medication management referral. They've declined. I can't, in all good conscience recommend any of the doctors I've seen or even the facility. There are some nurses that have tried to assist but they're extremely limited in what they can do. There seems to be entirely too much ego, s lot of administrative backlog and errors, and absolutely no oversight for patients that run into difficulty.
