She us extremely knowledgeable regarding the different facilities around town and keeps her ear to the ground regarding facilities, theur staff and accommodations based on the specific needs of each individual. All of her fees are paid directly by the facilities, not the family. She not only helped place my older sister in a good memorycarefacility but also an elderly couple in our church who could not do for themselves any longer. Give Pstti a call. You won't be sorry!

Finding yourself in the midst of the inevitable can be challenging and scary. In these times it is important to find the best conduit for those stressful times. My family and I were encouraged to contact Patti Naiser at Senior Home Transitions and what a blessing. Patti, having dealt with her own family struggles in the area of elder care readied her for holding the hand of many who are not prepared, including myself and our family. Patti takes the stress and legwork out of any situation with regard to knowing the best ways to handle the move from home to retirement community, to assisted living and hospice. Just knowing that Patti was there to give us a hand, advice and crucial information, including the best facilities and attorney's, was a relief. Patti is a pleasure to work with and her care isn't guided by the families ability to pay, but her ability to make things work for everyone involved. Just knowing she was there, as she understood and had the experience and knowledge was a grateful feeling. Thank you Patti!

We have two adult professional children, a son a retired University Professor, a daughter, an Attorney at Law, and three delightful adult grandchildren. We have done our share of traveling and living abroad. In our lifetime we have met some of the most beautiful person's anyone would ever want to meet. Finding and becoming members of The Forum Community, we have also encountered such beautiful persons. Our residence is gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff is friendly, caring and always ready to answer questions and lend a helping hand. The residents are increasingly becoming close friends and neighbors. The meals are well balanced and delicious. A full slate of creative activities is provided. The Forum is a "gated community" with a beautiful safe and secure campus. We have found our second retirement home and happy to have arrived. Billy & Velma Cox 145 Edgewood Way

The staff checked on her regularly. Vitals were taken and medicine administered. She was bathed and her bed changed all within a period of about four hours. I have been to many hospitals, nursing homes, etc., and this was by far the best I have been in.

From friendly staff to plenty of activities on-site as well as field trips, Brownsboro Park has been a great place for my grandma to call home. We've visited her regularly for meals - usually in the dining room but sometimes something she whips up in her in-unit kitchenette - and I've always been happy . . . you may even find me going back for seconds, especially if it's the dining room's mac 'n cheese! This New Year's Eve I joined her for their NYE party, which wrapped up early enough for me to join some friends for a shindig later. In any case, I was pretty satisfied with the toasted Brie, fruit, tarts, Swedish Meatballs, and other assorted munchies they provided for the event. There was even a toast of sparkling grape juice to cap off the evening!

It took her no time at all to fit in and make new friends. There are a good variety of activities for everyone. She even got involved with wi bowling. There are religious services on site. Her 644 sq. ft. apartment had private bedroom, galley kitchen, handicap safe bathroom, and ample storage. Unfortunately her bedroom set didn't fit too well. There are two safety pulls in each room. Weekly housekeeping is very good. There are daily specials, and the regular menu is very extensive. Laundry facilities on each floor are free. The facility is very clean, updated, with additional activities on each floor (i.e. bridge/cards, jigsaw puzzles, Mah Jong, etc.) The residents were very friendly, upbeat, and happy. She really enjoyed it there. Brownsboro Park is privately owned by a family in MN. I believe this is what keeps costs down vs. 'chain' facilities. The owners come down on a regular basis to meet with the residents. Oh, I neglected to mention the beautifully kept grounds. A pond, Gazebo, and lovely walking paths. There are quite a few places to sit outdoors.
