Storni is my favorite spot to eat or just sit outside and have a drink. It sits down a small street in Tesserete and offers both lunch and dinner. The dining room itself is a dated affair and I prefer not eating in there. I prefer the bar or the rustic back room with it's large fireplace. They tend to cater to the confederates (German) tourist that come to Switzerland on holiday but so does just about every other place. They will hand you a German menu unless you specify French or Italian. The food is also tending towards game meats but they have fish other dishes as well. For me I'm in heaven. They have several different Cervo dishes (venison) and all of them are fantastic. They have a steak dish and wild boar which is also good. My favorite primi plate is the ravioli with truffle oil and tomatoes and speck....absolutely incredible. Really all of their food is great. Be prepared all dining in Switzerland is expensive. They are paid much higher wages than in America. So you can expect around $400 for four people. read more
